So as long as it stays above $1000 kod is making a reasonable margin. It’s the high cost producers that will be quaking. We are low cost.

Why would it be problematic? Have you research what profit kodal would make on $1000 per tonne? Cost is c £680 per tonne so clearly a lot of profit even on $1000. Goldmans are a bunch of sheisters so I wouldn’t believe them

Also gold price at an all time high which is great for kodal, hope to get revised MRE over next few months

I agree it’s probably caused by £93k sell (defo looks like a sell anyway). I topped up and my buy was listed as a sell so can’t rely on it being accurate. Have a good Xmas everyone, I have no doubt kod will come good in 2024 👍

EMH RNS out today too, here is a snippet. That’s the second ASX miner having issues with current lithium prices and have delayed their DFS. Maybe rallying together to say enough is enough with the price decline in lithium.

High cost producers may well struggle and if they shut puts a strain on supply…kod is low cost so v sensible strategy.

I like this paragraph…clearly appetite is there for gold as Hainan have stated on a number of occasions (previous MRE was 350k oz).

watcher i’ve ignored a lot of your opinions before but clearly you struggle with maths and what i will not stand for is people on a forum sprouting incorrect and misleading info. you do realise that kodal’s cost to mine is around $680 per tonne? long term price forecasts are around the $1.5-2k per tonne but even if prices massively crash to $1k per tonne that’s still a big win and lots of profit. plus $500m plus of gold. so i analyse fundamentals and kodal has some of the best fundamentals across any market. you can’t argue against that. now i’m going to put you back on filter and you have been reported. do us all a favour and bugger off this board you’re clogging it up with ****e!

Interesting article re price forecasts. Relatively stable next couple of years then price increase in 2026. Bearing in mind cost to kodal is significantly less than $1kpt (think around $680 from memory) we are low cost so still making decent profit.

Yeah it’s not worth responding to him, stupid arguments. It’s clear the market cap is way below what it should be. Kodal’s profit for DMS even if the spod price goes to $1,000 pt is estimated at £51m and for floatation is £416m. Lots of lithium stocks have taken a pounding. Fundamentals here are still incredibly strong. Zero debt. Fully funded. Many millions to increase resource for lithium and gold (almost at record price). The tide WILL turn, don’t know when but it will and when it does it will catch peoples unawares.

Ps I’m also kicking myself for not cashing out at 0.88 when I was massively in profit but the way I look at it now, hindsight is a wonderful thing isn’t it, and 0.88 isn’t my sell point and I think long term the share price will be above 0.88. Frustrating though isn’t it…
