Even if the sold lithium price is $1kpt then profit for DMS is estimated at £50m and for floatation plant £411m. That’s exc any gold and based on the latest drilling results which should expand further. So look at the long term picture here.

Already 2 ASX miners are refusing to sell at current prices. This will happen more and more especially with high cost miners. Kod won’t be producing until Dec anyway when price forecast is higher than now

Yes the share price is frustratingly low as was expecting it to be way higher especially considering we are now fully funded with extra £ to expand resources but hey ho looking positively I am continuing to top up at these levels when I can, I have zero doubt that in a few years the share price will be a lot higher than today. Who knows by then Hainan may even decide to buy us out at a premium. Have a good 2024 all kodal investors 👍👍

I’d expect it to trade between 0.36 to 0.41 for a while unless good/bad news comes in that will move it further. We will see! But one thing is for sure it will fly with good news.

Here is an interesting article. Think goldmans will always be incredibly bearish. I’d be surprised if lithium spod price goes below $1,000 per tonne as the high cost producers would just stop their operations as they would be selling at a loss, therefore would restrict supply which pushes up prices.

Also worth reading about the shenxing battery, total game changer! Also uses around 11-17 per cent lithium vs 11 per cent for lithium ion. So at the very least, as much lithium vs current lithium ion. There are also rumours the quality of spod being delivered is not good and being given back. Hasn’t been confirmed though. Ultimate I do think long term supply vs demand will be closely matched. Prob oversupply next year then demand taking hold and supply won’t be able to keep up, long term hold for me

No worries, it’s guesswork on what the bottom line price is for kod to be feasible but anything more than I think was £680 per tonne is profit making. There are loads of others operating much higher cost models and I’d be v nervous if I was them. 2 ASX mining companies have said they’re ceasing operations or cutting back due to the current price as it’s not viable for them to continue. Futures for lithium is showing an increase which in theory should mean spot prices increases shortly, we will see. Gold for me is huge. Northwards of $500m revenue as it stands using old 350k Oz mre on just 1 of Kodal’s areas. And general consensus is there is a breakout about to happen. So whatever the way we look at it kod is massively undervalued hence why I am continuing to top up at these levels but of course up to you what you do 👍
