I do think gold has massive value too. Who knows, Hainan have said time and time again that they are keen on gold. Would love us to get to 50mt lithium and provide maiden values on gold then they write a cheque northwards of £500m for the lot. That would be tasty….may not happen though! But some lithium cos eg wildcat and Pilbara showed huge gains quickly so it’s not impossible.

Yep 100notout, I totally agree. Part of the reason why I invested here was the fact that kod can pivot on lithium and gold. V hard to accurately predict lithium price but the general consensus from what I’ve been reading as medium to long term should be at least $1.2kpt for it to be worthwhile for the majority of lithium producers. We are low cost so even if it’s less than this that’s ok, but the lithium market is immature so I think for 2025 onwards it should become more stable. It doesn’t help when I read nonsense articles about sodium ion fully replacing lithium, expanse of hydrogen etc. there is a lot of media that’s anti lithium at the moment. Eg apparently BMW are phasing out EVs in favour of hydrogen according to recent media news but they are also targeting 1/2 million EV sales this year and put €650mn in Munich to go fully ev….

Hi 100notout, I think a lot of it has to do with sentiment too. The whole lithium market has taken an absolute bashing and some people therefore get scared to be invested in a lithium company and sell. Remember some people do invest based on nonsense media articles and certain investment bank forecasts and don’t actually do their due diligence. No doubt some of those sells were panic sells and they just wanted to get the hell out of lithium due to the negative market sentiment. I’m invested here as I’ve done the due diligence and like a lot of others here realise the sp is crazily low and fundamentals v strong. So it’s a buy and hold for me 👍

Hi 100notout I personally don’t think any games as such are being played but some traders just got bored and sold up with a view that a year is a long time to wait. The thing is we all know how undervalued kod is and there are multiple catalysts that can boost the SP significantly ie license transfer, sorting out Leo mess, gold drilling results, lithium expanded resource etc. So I think it’s impossible to know when these are going to land. The thing is I’ve realised a lot of people are v impatient and want to make a quick buck, but there is a lot to be said on buying and holding if the stock has strong fundamentals which kod has in spades

I think we will continue to trade around this level 0.32 to 0.38 until we receive news. So I’m topping up when I can. I do think Bernie’s timeline re production this year is pretty optimistic and I’m estimating to be producing late q1 2025. That really isn’t long away. Happy to just sit on my hands and hopefully value will increase in the build up to production. Hopefully a few RNSs along with the way with increased MRE and gold news.

What I would say is the investment bank are all doom and gloom. Bank of America have now said expected lithium price $650 pt this year. I just can’t see that happening, hardly any producers will sell at that price. I do think there will be some rebalancing on the market as lithium is still immature. I think over the medium to long term we should see $1200 pt plus to make it viable for most producers

Yep I’m with you, definitely wasn’t expecting such a retrace but 0.88 wasn’t my sell point so happy to wait. Think will come good in the end just patience is required, gl too 👍

Good luck with it hop2, never easy and you can never get the winners right all the time. I’m massively down on bradda and firering but that’s the nature of aim I guess. Kod is so undervalued at the mo but think won’t move until we get news. Think may be some movement during start of next tax year on April 6th. Just buying when I can and holding, tide should turn on lithium price at some point.
