It all depends on how great a deal it is. BOD are incentivised to get the lithium out of the ground. I do agree, would love a buyout but has to be a v strong offer.
Yeah to be fair for me this isn’t about prem vs Kod, I wish everyone success in what they invest in. I think there has been a bit of bad blood here on people laughing in the face of kod investors which I don’t like. I hope both prem and kod holders do well! Good luck to all.
And yes I agree until we have a deal in place and revised license price may slip a bit, but with deal and revised license we should see a significant re rate.
Well their aim is to get lithium out of the ground by end of 2023, so December 2023. But we will see, I hope that’s true, DMS build is quicker, usually takes 12 months or so.
Wolf you’re invested in prem and saying Kod is a long way from production. Kod will be up and running full scale a long time sooner than prem if you do your due diligence. Come on Kod, bring it home
Yeah I think the change to DMS is largely because it’s a lot quicker to get up and running and therefore taking advantage we hope of a better lithium price.
Totally agree, I don’t care about prem, kodal is way more advanced. Payback of just Bougouni in a few WEEKS with current lithium prices. And that’s not even taking into account possible increase in resource too. Ludicrous and amazing for huge investors to come along.
Let’s not forget the board are heavily incentivised to make it work and have a lot of skin in the game. It’s in their own interest to sort out a good deal.
I don’t think it’s a big issue. French troops have already left and UK I think had around 300 troops which isn’t a lot in the grand scheme of things. I believe the main trouble is in the central and north of Mail whereas Bougoni is around 3 hrs south of Bamako. Ultimately we have a ton of lithium that everyone wants so I don’t see it as a huge deal UK troops pulling out. That’s my opinion of course, feel free to disagree.
This is a KOD board so I suggest you post on Prem if you’re so excited about it. KOD I’m confident will go to full production sooner than Prem but to be honest I don’t care. Come on Kod!
. The Mining Licence was granted in early November 2021 to Kodal’s Mali subsidiary company, Future Minerals SARL, and is valid for an initial 12-year term and renewable in ten-year blocks until all resources mined. The Mining Licence is granted under the 2019 Mining Code and extends over 97.2 square km covering the proposed open-pit mining and processing operation at Bougouni.
We already have a mining license though and I would prefer the DMS route, far quicker ie 12 month build to take max advantage of lithium prices whilst being the most cost effective.
I do wish everyone success be it if they invest in prem, Atlantic, bradda etc, let’s just get on can we? Life is too short to be nit picking at each other. This is a kodal board though so majority of chat should be about kodal of course.
