Hi Horsford, not sure what to make of Justin Waite at Vox Podcasts. It's good that he keeps FDBK in the spotlight but JW always sounds a bit childish these days. His podcast persona needs an overhaul I reckon.
Could not make up my mind regarding that 600k last Friday. The price was in no man's land for me though I was leaning towards it being a sell. Hope you are right about it being a board member purchase.
Also not sure we will get news any day soon. If board members are picking up stock at present then big news is unlikely for a good few weeks in my opinion as that would place those board members now buying in the position of insider traders. Can't really have that, can we?
Hot as Hades in Bucks at the moment. In typical QPR fashion they flew out to Portugal last week for 7 days of warm weather training. Sold Alex Smithies, their best keeper since Phil Parkes in the '70s to Cardiff for a mere £3.5 million so not pleased about that. However, good luck to Smithies as now he's in the Premier League he might stand a chance of an England call up. He's better than most keepers in the PL.
Today QPR singed a centre back, Toni Leistner, from Union Berlin. I've never heard of him but he sounds as though he is exactly what we need (big and tough and a leader). Think he been brought in to tell the youngsters what to do in game situations. We had another player from Union Berlin, Sebastian Polter, a couple of years back and he was a fan favourite. We called him The BFG (Big Friendly German). Turns out the new guy is his best friend and has already posted a video clip where he calls himself the new BFG at QPR.
