Orjones, are you prepared to put your cv alongside Alex MacDonald’s?
What relevance the man’s age?
17 agreements to the email on this board, plenty of feedback along the same vein in Twitter and still Sarah Cope doesn’t deem it worthy of comment.
Dear Ms Cope,
As an investor in AAOG, it is very disheartening to see continued actions being taken by the organisation which are clearly against the best interests of shareholders. No matter how these transactions are presented, the logic and rationale behind recent decisions suggests continued weak judgement. The failure of board members to promote full transparency and to resolve significant questions relating to new and historic activity is extremely disheartening. The unwillingness to recognise the value that can be added through alternative transactions and to provide a full account of AAOG's financial dealings and decisions is not acceptable for any listed company. With an impressive career history and detailed knowledge of this industry, it is disappointing that your own reputation is now tarnished by association with the near collapse of AAOG. The Board should be acknowledging the serious failings by its previous members, explaining the facts and taking effective remedial action. Delays releasing information over financial viability, dubious related party transactions, and millions in unaccounted funds are just some the concerns worthy of investigation. A simple internet search demonstrates that shareholders and investors can not comprehend the actions that have already been taken, but yet the same course of action continues unabated. Selling shares today to a third party with extremely limited resources and no clout in this sector rather than investors with much greater determination to generate returns adds further unease over AAOG's governance. Recognising that the current board members have no financial interest or shareholdings in the company, they should as a minimum, consider whether they are operating in line with the corporate governance code and seriously assess the way in which their duties are currently being discharged. The Board should be willing and open to a full AIM investigation, which i trust will be initiated in due course.
Yes Tony but how do we small fry initiate an audit?
Morning, RHJoyes. Is that thinly veiled sarcasm? :) I’m not sure if FCA will investigate AAOG or to what extent, but at least they have been given the nod. There is a lot of anger floating about from at least some seasoned investors who believe that there is more to this story than bad luck.
I think that we are due an independent audit.
Just seen the letter to the boss of AIM on Twitter #aaog
AdrianUK, who is Mr Stuttard?
Rhjoyes....the FCA have been notified of AAOG recent activity. If you feel strongly that something is amiss then please make a complaint to FCA.
Beevorama, a good starting point would be AAOG Shareholder Action @AAOG_SH_Action on Twitter. If you don’t have an account it’s worth opening just to keep tabs.
I read on here’s or Twitter that the BBC had been given the nod. It would make an excellent documentary.
Unfortunately, the analysis of Skittish makes a lot of sense after the event.
Hello Lucy, it’s a shame that this hasn’t worked out for you/us. Personally, I am going to take a lesson from this. If it had gone ridiculously well then there is a good chance that I would have gambled on another share afterwards and lost more. Yes, it is a set back but there are fortunately many things in this world that don’t need money :)
Hello Tiburn,
where to start regarding the legality of the count? Apart from the previously mentioned authorities who have been notified, perhaps if you or others are significantly out of pocket it would be worth an initial meeting with a lawyer? There are a lot of technical questions to be answered. My fear is that this has been well researched and thought out already....
Give them a chance itsagame ;)
It takes a while to cook the books.
Macgerry, I agree and I am not criticising TipTop. I apologise if it came across like that.
I think that we ought to collaborate our efforts. I have made a report to the FCA and following a link on their website to the police fraud department and am suggesting that if the FCA realised how many people and how much money is concerned then perhaps they would take my complaint (more) seriously.
Please elaborate.
Tiptop, I realise that this may be awkward for you but as you have decided to share this with us...
"To my question of last night......which authorities have you shared this with ?"
This is relevant to, I would guess, a lot of lth of AAOG. I for one have held my shares to this stage with a view to seeing this through.

Not my words but re-posted as may be of interest here:
"Wouldn`t be so sure since first " The Acquisition remains subject to certain regulatory requirements in the Republic of the Congo.("Completion")." and more importantly TW says that he will be writing to Aim regulation about the truth about the lawsuit against Aaog that could sink it.
The scale, severity, merits of the lawsuit need further legal clarity and he thinks that the Aaog shares should be suspended."
To my question of last night......which authorities have you shared this with ?
Tiptop, good evening- couple of questions:
Why was an AAOG board member singling you out for information that should have been broadcast to all?
Other than the FCA (see small print “advert” on this page) who has been notified?
It’s because they are crooked.
