What a joke this guy is. Sausage, the article was reposted by the actual company. They would have fact checked it and wouldn’t touch it if it were inaccurate.

Great work Tomh, the fact the company is directly referencing your research is all the validation you should need, and a clear indication to us investors that your work is accurate and noteworthy. It also highlights the level trolls will go to to try to discredit genuine research for their own disingenuous agenda. Shame on you.

The fact he is trying to pick apart a post that he doesn’t seem to understand is telling and a tad embarrassing.

Wind power doesn’t all get to the grid on windy days due to the load balancing he references, so to avoid wasting it, it needs to be stored. Simple. How do you store it? Convert it to hydrogen. Is the electrolysis tech there and getting better and better? Yes.

Sausage you’ve shown your true colours here as a poster to be wary of. Blatantly a shorter of EPP. So let’s cut through your BS.

PHASE 2: obviously and clearly stated, the post was referring to gas storage offtake and not other companies pumping gas to the morecambe terminal via MESH. EPP will have the storage license so will be allowed to store. There’s no mention of other companies tying in to MESH to access the grid terminal, so cut the crap.

Excess Wind energy: On days where the wind blows the national grid is maxed out and there is a substantial wind energy excess that is wasted and incurs curtailment costs to the government. The Irish Sea, when the wind blows, creates a glut of energy and will create more with expansion as per the map. This needs storing. No one is saying it’s enough for a stable energy supply when the wind is low, just that it creates a huge excess when blowing that never makes it to the grid. Do I need to post links to government and independent stats? So cut the crap.

Electrolysis: even in the past few weeks huge advances to make the process more efficient and cost effective have been announced (you’d have seen some links in past posts in Jan, do I need to post more?). Electrolysis is economically and technologically viable for this project and hydrogen is the UK and Europes chosen green energy vehicle moving forward. So cut the crap.

Overall tomh, a good post and a great map. Details may change as the FEED and EPIC phases advance but don’t be discouraged by shorters with an insidious agenda.

Yesterday pledged £30 billion for wind and green energy projects. So let’s cut the crap.

The funding for mesh will come from a combination of government and private sector investment. As we have seen (and for this I can give perhaps 2025 press release links to prove the case) private sector investment in hydrogen is increasing substantially.

Also, it doesn’t matter what administration is in power, hydrogen and gas storage was originally a Conservative policy and priority. So even if the net zero agenda is quashed by a new government it won’t matter one bit to the mesh project.

As for the dynamics of storage, you need to listen to last Sunday’s interview. Gas production set to begin in 2027, gas storage can start immediately as soon as a relatively small amount of gas is vacated through production. Hydrogen production and storage will start further down the line.

So no more BS please

Very professional interview from Ben Clube CEO and killed off all the bearish criticisms of late with some aplomb. Finally we can move onto more pertinent matters and discussions.

- Green fund drawdown confirmed

- The gas storage can begin as soon as enough gas is removed, so not a six year wait as the bears claimed lol

- A potential 25% investment return for investors and a 25 year project life

- Fully funded through to FID and with a wealth of interest from other green funds

- Storage revenue value double that of the gas production

What is your agenda here? Are you invested? Are you shorting the company?

I think you have an obligation to inform investors on this board as to why you are dedicating your time and efforts to critiquing this stock. Until you verify your positions we (and any sensible credible investor) cannot assume any integrity or credibility on your part.

Christ, we all know about the capex needed to get the project up and running. With regards to the opex the green loan fund covers activities to FID at end 2025.

Investors are buying in as they expect investment to come from tier one partners and/or the government. That’s that so can we stop drivelling on about the same stuff and at least come up with new pro/con angles.

All taken into consideration re my investment today. It was after all the tories that initiated the policies that were pro Hydrogen storage some years ago. Carbon Capture maybe shelved or reduced, but with a tenth of the energy storage capacity of Germany and one of the lowest overall in Europe, Hydrogen and Natural Gas storage is critical no matter what government is in power. So let’s not clog up the board going over old ground anymore LS.

Sausage, I’m not disputing there might be cuts to certain schemes, my point was your definition of fact. Until it’s announced it’s speculation.

Anyway, after a lengthy round of DD I have started a position today fortuitously on the drop.

Aside from an opinion piece in the conclusion and a bit of speculation on partnerships, it references documented RNS’d information and doesn’t contradict the numbers/research I’ve collated myself. Now I’m onboard I won’t be holding back from criticism if goals aren’t achieved, but the CEO has a good track record and I’m happy to give him time to perform.

Sausage, I’ve been in business long enough to sniff out BS and to know who to trust and those to be wary of.

Investors ramping are transparent and obviously they’re going to post in their best interest. However, uninvested groups of people spending their valuable time posting on a stock they have no money in… Well to me, and any serious investor with an ounce of sense, that reeks of corruption.

Whether you guys are shorters, net zero critics or in some other way peeved at EPP, you must have an agenda, you can’t all be just “good Samaritans” after all. Note how I didn’t get a straight answer to this when I posed it as a question previously.

The intensity of negative posts since the license award tells me you guys are trying to double down efforts to keep this SP suppressed. Interesting.

Also Sausage, you need to look up the definition of fact. Until Rachel Reeves formally states if and what she is cutting back on financially, it isn’t fact.

It’s quite gratifying watching the derampers/shorters scrabble around in the dirt and squalor clutching at any scrap of negativity.

Bottom line - Licence granted. Huge milestone and bodes well for continued government support re extensions to the project.

This stock sure gets some trolling. It’s interesting to see the correlation between the posting history of “critics” here and the shorting cabal coordinated by Tom Winnifrith on X (twitter). For instance GEX is also a target for these shady characters. It’s all being logged and reported to the FCA.
