One aspect which remains an unknown, but could have a bearing on settlement negotiations and a legal award is what deal on the table when Samsung walked off with IP giving them the key to a process they couldn't resolve. The deal would have covered royalties, licensing, etc and would be a good place to start. Hopefully Nanoco were bullish with the proposition.

It does appear to me that news and social media has been surprisingly quiet on Nanoco patent ruling. I had expected more, hardly anything on twitter even from the usual share info posters and Nanoco themselves. The story alone deserves more coverage IMHO

If the paraquay drill turns out uncomercial it will reflect negatively on the sp justified or not. The cost maybe covered, but success will be transformative so with that upside failure will have a down side the market is not going to shrug it of as no cost. PPC have spent millions on Paraguay surveys, 2 drills I can't check back at the moment but I think that's cost over $30m and because Argentina hasn't supplied the funds shareholders have over several fund raises. Without a plan b the question will be what will the cost be going forward and that will reflect in the sp.

Can that be the reason for these small trades, there were only 600 small share holders at the time of the dividend according to PPC.
These small trades do happen on other companies from time to time when they get a mention on social media and then users buy and sell on the free trade platforms.

It's because the holding company is seen as performing badly or high risk, PPC is a mild mix of both, assets in Argentina don't appear to be giving the returns that they should and a high risk drill, already delayed, due in Paraguay H2. If either those change, full price for Argentina oil and gas or success in Paraguay we're on a winner or if Paraguay is a duster it's going to hurt the sp. I'm hoping we achieve higher argentina oil and gas prices because world events and winter is approaching. A positive is a good management team which why its survived this far.

Not saying it would happen here but its why companies get brought and broken up as the sum of parts is higher than the whole

Feeks, the article does mention price as an obstacle, but I don't believe it. First of all Apple will have done the sums up front and included the cost of the factory investment, they wouldn't build a factory and then run the numbers. My recollections are, they were working on VR glasses and the reason the project was shelved was the could reconcile the power consumption and design aspirations at the time. It something Plessey were working on at the same time. I think Apple decided to wait for the technology to come to them in terms of chip power consumption to enable a slick design without wires or bulky glasses.
