Basically the author think nuclear power about to come back into fashion and he mentions YCA. My personal take is that Nuclear was never out of fashion with anyone who had a background in engineering and science but my hypothesis for investing is as follows. I am not convinced the eco idiots will allow many new reactors in the west but in the east they are being built at a rapid pace and that there will be a bull uranium market for a few years to come hence I hold CCJ, BKY and UUUU. I may well buy a few YCA this week due to its attractive price and the reserves of ore it has in the vaults.

Giftlink to FT article, apparently Nuclear Power is in danger of becoming fashionable again as the eco idiots finally wake up to its ability to produce near zero carbon electricity. Some of us never lost sight of that even as the eco brigade claimed shipping wood pellets from Canada to Drax in Yorkshire was " sustainable and green".

Balanced, I reckon there will be a further more modest drop early tomorrow morning and will be ready to buy in on that. If I can get a 30% discount to the price last week then I will happily average down as I believe the drug will get to market.

The science has not changed and there is a good chance to get this drug to market but how to get rid of the PIs?
Why not have a quick fund raising exercise where we dilute the shares and watch the sp plummet as the PIs panic?
Millions of shares auto sold on stop loss protection and a great chance to buy them cheap before the next RNS?

Always agree but I am enjoying the speculative wave of optimism! I averaged down when this was 7p so my aggregate is 30p and I have taken profit twice at the 50p mark with a few thousand shares still in play. Once the permits are cleared and production begins in maybe 12 months I might well buy back in at 60p ish.

Jeff must admit I thought the market would be more enthusiastic about the news with a double digit sp rise.
Tempted to buy a few before the US markets open but OXB has disappointed many since the sp consolidation.

I am still holding here but the sp move in Madrid has not been driven by any news via an RNS so is entirely speculative imo. If you day trade and look for momentum then fine buying in and selling out of BKY might well be quite a lucrative play. For those of us wanting to invest for the long term this is still a risky punt. My assumption is that good news about the permits has leaked in Spain and investors are getting in early but an alternative hypothesis is that the Spanish Gov is chaotic and that someone is ramping BKY on nothing more than rumours.

I would also add that Lanstead may have bought in at a very low price and done well enough to want to take some profit. Who knows? We will see what the market thinks over the next couple of hours.

Agree up to a point, I read several posts this morning and then went and purchased a few mores shares. Reading and doing your own research the key here rather than commenting. As someone pointed out they are still sending tankers to the field to bring oil ashore. How much and for how long the key points with regards whether one stop losses, averages down or takes a punt at these prices.

In short, some posts worth reading others not as they are clearly have an agenda to ramp or short etc.

By way of comparison in the news & they are only at Phase I/II but "encouraging" = 30% sp rise.

(Alliance News) - Shares in 4D Pharma PLC surged on Wednesday after it said results of Part A of its Phase I/II trial of MRx0518 in combination with immune checkpoint inhibitor Keytruda were "extremely encouraging".

The stock was trading 33% higher at 104.13 pence each on Wednesday morning in London.

MRx0518 is single strain live biotherapeutic product in development for the treatment of cancer. It stimulates the body's immune system, directing it to produce cytokines and immune cells that are known to attack tumours

Thank you for your good wishes. I think you are wrong with regards HUR but equally can understand why you have reached a point where you have to stop loss. Personally I take some comfort from seeing a major like BP down at around 271p this morning when not long ago it was way higher. The Oil sector is taking a battering but nonetheless I filled up my car this week and have noticed the airline business getting back on track in short the demand of oil has not disappeared just yet.

With regards HUR it all hinges on the tech report in September and the monthly production stats. If the well problems can be fixed and daily production remains where it is now or higher then I think shareholders will be rewarded. If the well problems require a new drilling programme then HUR is in real trouble.

The trend in sp has been encouraging if a little volatile so holding and hoping for news on the tax case which was promised this summer. Summer over in Sandbach btw with heavy rain and strong gusts of wind bringing a crap August to a close!.

One can only hope Nolo but I am encouraged by the 9% uptick today without an RNS.
Just market makers playing games or are there rumours of a good news RNS shortly?

I hold CCJ Cameco and Energy Fuels UUUU both a little up this week and note that YCA is still buying back its own shares. My gut feeling is that the Uranium sector is going to enjoy a bull run and that getting in early will be rewarded by early next year. Do I have any idea if BKY are about to get those permits? Nope, simply a hunch based on the buying in Madrid.

If flundra is right and the permits and production happen in the next 12 months then BKY a good investment. While there is a general bullish sentiment on uranium see link, the risk is will the permits be issued quickly or at all? I am cautiously optimistic and willing to buy more shares on news re the permits.

Anyone doing chart/tech analysis on BKY? After a very good run from mid March the 20 or 50 day moving average drooping towards the 200 day average which might be a concern. Personally not a tech expert so interested in other views.
