Re SOLG, yes have been patiently waiting for a payday from it for some time now. Should I make a decent return on that I would put a modest amount into TYM. That said another very Red day on the markets so not yet.

Will it suddenly bounce after paying off the Bond in July? Somehow I doubt it because HUR effectively debt free right now so who is holding the sp back and why?

Some of the grades look very good but this is a tiny company with maybe two years of cash free to pay a modest wages bill and exploration costs.

It will need funds either via a JV or through further dilution. For me this company is interesting but too young and too small to risk serious money.

Has anyone taken a look at tech analysis over the past month or so? The sp seems to have deflated a little although it is relative, a year ago it was much lower. Tempted to re enter as the market for fertilizers from anywhere but Russia seems very strong.

If the above comes to pass then a North Sea Gas Producer will make big profits for some time to come. Hopefully HBR will not hedge again at silly prices.

Tolmount will in due course make the HBR weather imo.

Giftlink to the FT 4hrs ago. North Sea Investment back and here to stay with Delek (Tel Aviv) and Ithaca. They are talking about a 30 year timescale so patience needed but should be well rewarded imo.

Cambo became a focal point for the debate over whether the UK should pursue new fossil fuels projects when the country has a legally-binding 2050 “net zero” emissions target. It was paused last year when minority partner Shell said the economic case for Cambo was “not strong enough”.

Due to close in June, the Siccar Point acquisition also hands Ithaca a 20 per cent stake in Rosebank, another significant undeveloped oilfield north-west of the Shetlands. Ithaca anticipates spending “easily above $3bn” across both projects and hopes to make a final decision with its partners next year."

OWLS I was disappointed as I thought HBR might hit 500p today. HUR in contrast rose 10% today but HBR did not due hedged oil price.

Fair point and a dose of reality does no harm.
That said, OPEC will not be riding to the rescue any time soon.

It could do....in a best case scenario IMM select the most suitable patients for the P3 trial and within a few weeks the results are so good the FDA decides to let the placebo group have it as well? Like I say, best case with Unicorns and Fairy Dust generously sprinkled about. More likely, a long trial with statistically positive results, no dangerous side effects and the FDA pass our drug which then plays second fiddle to the AZ drug. The sp goes up a couple of multiples but nothing life changing for small investors.

Look for a JV partner to develop the Greater Warwick Area?

There are plenty of options including putting yourself up for sale to somebody like HBR

From today's DT. Cannot see HBR not being a bid target at some point in the next year simply because of its North Sea assets. If Berlin had any sense they would buy HBR today on behalf of Germany but green politicians do not do things like that.....they prefer cheap Russian Gas and choose to ignore Ukraine.

The grades are amazing! Split blasting etc. So why is the sp this low?

Most of us will be kicking ourselves for not buying more shares at sub 10p.

Also covered in today's DT, the Ukrainian Gov just restricted the flow of gas to Europe/Germany.
Suddenly our North Sea Gas assets look even more attractive!
FTSE 100 entry on the way, would be disappointed if we did not hit 500p shortly.

I added yesterday on the drop so feel vindicated. I would expect the sp to be nudging 500p by end of week.

I just sold some HUR and bought more HBR.

While I resent having to trade I have bought more here in the expectation of a pop into the FTSE 100 and once the sp above 520p will sell and put profits back into HUR.

I believe HUR will fly once the Bonds paid off in July and do not want to miss that boat.

I intend to hold wait until a bottom emerges, then add.
With oil prices way above $80 a barrel I think HBR is a sound investment and Tolmount will come online this year if not next week.
