North sea gas4 Dec 2017 11:17
While this is not adjacent to Parkmead it does suggest north sea gas resources are still in play with the larger producers and consumers. Quite why the sp is so low remains a concern, unconvinced AGM will cast much light on murky waters!.
Maersk Oil (OTCPK:AMKAF, OTCPK:AMKBF) and its partners say they will invest 21B Danish kroner ($3.16B) to fully redevelop the Tyra gas field in the North Sea to enable continued operations from the asset for at least 25 years.
The Danish Underground Consortium, a joint venture between A.P. Moeller-Maersk, Royal Dutch Shell (RDS.A, RDS.B), Chevron (NYSE:CVX) and Denmark's state-owned Nordsofonden, approve the investment following legislation passed by the Danish Parliament.
The redevelopment of Tyra will ensure continued production from Denmark's largest gas field, and will protect and rejuvenate important Danish North Sea infrastructure, Maersk says.
Peak production from the redeveloped field is expected to produce ~60K boe/day and provide enough gas to supply 1.5M Danish homes.
