I agree and just checked the FT tearsheet. Basic value of shares about 33p, book value per sharw 69p, no debt and good news flow. Would expect 75p this year.

What were the 5 shares Mr Klein favoured?

Tom Cross maybe, but how many commentators below would refuse 75p a share? PMG has potential but its been far too volatile for years. Personally I suspect most small investors would sell to a bidder for the right price.

Any thoughts what the NAV net asset value per share might be? I remain invested and down about 12% because my own research on older data suggested close to 70p a share. At these prices I am surprised a bigger player has not made a bid. Ineos for example needs a reliable supply of oil and gas for Grangemouth.

I am not invested here but saw the news and took a look at the FT tearsheet. What struck me was that the company is mostly owned by institutional investors 72%. They must be concerned by this mornings drop which to me looks a bit overdone given the financial stats. Is MTC the kind of brand that an Amazon or large chinese investor might buy And will this drop put pressure on the institutions to get a deal. The alternative is a slow decljne into bust imo.
