What is driving the sp up? Runour, hope or news? Like it nonetheless would just like to see some news.

Yet here we are languishing at 12p? Angry and frustrated.....should I just buy some more?

6000 bopd and potential income from pieline and reserves, what am I missing? Political risk?

Suspect WMH has become a staple diet for shorters but this time a smaller punt and willing to wait until year end.

Disappointed that the news has produced a very modest uptick. A reflection on the size of the company and share liquidity but still frustrating......any chance of dividend?

FT today on oil pricing and demand. That said 12p a share sucks bigly imo! Unjustified and unrealistic price.

Got burned here last year so stop lossed and lurked watching the news and comments.

Based on the Times gossip reported today have tentatively bought back in to see if this story has legs. Last week also bought back into 888.

FT today, interesting comment.

"Carl Icahn has sued Occidental Petroleum over its $55bn takeover of Anadarko Petroleum, saying it had overpaid for its rival and “botched” the acquisition by agreeing a pricey financing package from “one of history’s canniest investors” Warren Buffett.

Mr Icahn, whose activist investment vehicles have built a $1.6bn stake in Occidental, is seeking access to documents relating to the takeover, which he described in a lawsuit filed on Thursday as “fundamentally misguided and hugely overpriced”.

Occidental should have bid for Amerisur, chicken feed price for a company producing pumping 5-6000 bopd by year end maybe more....

When I saw the massive drop this morning I had to make a decision, bail or average down?

I averaged down so now own more shares but less in the red than at 1000 today. Hopefully some sanity will return to the price of these shares over the summer.

Topped up with 7000 a few mins ago which while risky is worth a punt as I think the drop overdone. My expectation is a gradual recovery in sp with the added bonus of a predator stepping in and making a bid.

The flip-side, the government change the law and let the locals f@ck up the mine.

Of course in the good old days miners merely bribed the Mayor/Presidente and then arranged for some mercenaries to "sort out the local trouble makers" but in the 21st century apparently that is no longer permitted.

So good news and share price up to 60p then long slow fade back to 48p ish! Frustrating, very frustrating.

Yep, even thinking of buying more!

#metoo Always a problem investing in a small ill liquid share but the fundamentals look very strong (to me and you) hence a long term holder but would like to see some more news and the sp at 80p!
