Yes me too, holding and voted No but willing to take 19.2p if the deal rolls through and will walk away with a modest profit on what was a very risky punt. Disappointed if that occurs because I suspect we are being sold on the cheap but not much we can do about it. Sit on your cash and don't invest in stocks until after the main global markets have dropped 50%?

Spain has as many elections as an African failed state, dont be surprised but perhaps one day Spain might get a government that is pro nuclear?

Hi DG1 saw this while perusing another site and I feel pretty confident that SOLG will attract a serious bid in the next 12-18 months as the industry is heading in that direction.

Funny, I was about to post on the possibility of consolidation as CEY has had an approach from another mining outfit. I would not be surprised to see something similar here but will the small private investors get a fair price for our patience and exposure to risk? As you say, speculation but hopefully that helps with accumulation of wealth for the small investors.

My instinct is that this company should be priced well above 160p but you cannot endlessly fight the market makers. It has stagnated because it needs some financial winds to fill its sails and that is just not there. The political weather is depressing the share price and Trump is way too busy fighting impeachment to be looking at gaming laws etc.

That is a key question for me too. My gut feeling was that the MAP might well give investors and sufferers some hope of things to come so disappointed that it appears to have stopped. I would like a quick mega profit but broadly agree with other posts that until Phase III is passed there will be no big rise in sp.

Wait and see perhaps? While it counts for little I hold 300,000 shares and told HL to vote No as have many other small investors so just maybe the deal will be rejected. I think the chances of the deal being rejected quite low while more likely is a late opportunistic counter bid in low 20 something range. All we can do is sit and wait it out.

If nothing else a cheery finish to the week after months of depression!

Nobody seems to care.....I do Nolupus, but the board has attracted a large number of excitable people in the past couple of days.

Just added 20,000 more as I have held here a long time and expected some profit taking after yesterday's epic rise.
Why? There is much froth and speculation here but a few of us have bought in on the science and believe with help and funding this product will get to market after which the sp will really take off....or more likely IMM will be subject to a bid.

I was one of the lucky ones (there will be others here) who followed a hunch on IMM and have enjoyed a very good day.
That said, I believe the potential story here equally compelling but it will take more time, possibly more money but will be worth the wait if a new antibiotic emerges from this company.

Sold this morning and threw most of it into IMM when it was up 70%. I already held IMM but was down until the good news but am now very nicely up even after accounting for my losses here and I bought in at 600p or less!.

Might I come back? Maybe if I saw a flow of good financial data and news from PTEC.

Another problem share that has caused me some angst. But having held on the basis of the science and if will excuse the pun a gut feeling we now have a very positive sign that this drug will get to market. Off to angst over my other gambles!

I tend to buy risky shares, often end up in the red and average down while fretting about where a business will be in a year or three years time. Today's announcement gives me the confidence to go and fret about my other problem shares on other boards and not worry too much about SOLG. I intend to hold until we see 37p or higher.

Maybe but since posting on 12 Nov the sp has slid some more!

Purchased 5000 more today and while in the red with SOLG I strongly believe Gold Prices will rise in the longer term (2 years)
and that the sp of most miners will follow. As to the short term (3-12 months) I expect this share to attract a bid from a larger player. Either way I see SOLG as an interesting punt over the next year, DYOR and beware pumpers and dumpers.

I am gutted as I hold 300,000 shares and had expected a bid well in excess of 20p. For the risk I took in averaging down from 20p a year or two back I am not inclined to just sell meekly next week even though it would be for a good profit at 19p.

I am not going gently into that good night and neither should other larger shareholders this is a **** deal and we all know the company is worth far more than 19p a share.

When I invested in BKY I assumed the money was going into a mining venture in Europe.
Geographically this was correct but culturally and politically Spain works more like sub Saharan Africa.
Once one accepts that then losing large amounts now but in the future possibly making the money back makes sense.
