I think that's why NM said dangerously low, as he will be aware that many share holders may accept an offer of say 60p currently when he was prob hoping for much more.

Certainly is possible that a third major could come in with a low ball offer with SP at 20-21p

I hope you are correct, but if you are referring to Newcrest making an offer for SOLG, that doesn't seem to be on their agenda listening to their recent presentation.

Unless of course they played down the importance of their stake in SOLG directly because they are going to make a bid?.

Obviously this could change but if you listen to the recent NCM presentation you will understand why Havieron currently has the best potential for SP growth

IMO more likely they will buy Hav, they can get up to 70% plus another 5 I think.

If you listen to their presentation re NCM they mention Hav as being part of their plans going forwards, if it turns out as they are expecting of course
