Which company are they shorting?
I mean good luck with that covid opportunist, avct has been found out, all hype, no bite and most importantly no turnovers, cash in and sink it in here
Well, I was told we were only just beginning when I sold half my holding at 174... but now I'm back up to full. Definite Buy at these prices
Yes.
Does that answer suit your cross ramp?
Well, when you start at 70p and average down towards 35p, hardly a bad return
Tbf I halved my holding today, just because of the novacyt drops made me realise taking pure profit is not a bad thing
Imagine giving contracts out, unquestioned, undisputed to your mates ay, then disputing a legitimate growing company
To be fair, the reduced effectiveness of the vaccine is making me question whether it's even worth getting vaccinated now. Already had covid, wasn't too bad, and feel like it would be more beneficial to the immune system to just get ill again... Bit like I do every year with flu.
The only thing that's gonna save this share price at this rate is the announcement of a small dividend... 15p per share would cost the company £10m but would show that it is growing into a ftse company.
Louis, you can witness that exact sentiment across the crypto markets, where coins that literally do or offer nothing are riding along with the likes of bitcoin on the premise "one day they'll be useful"
How on earth, if the results haven't reassured investors, do we actually raise the share price now.
Mullis really has killed the company with the last 12 months of bs
So theoretically, they replace £20m of kit, and then get their payments paid.
£70m in revenue to us, with a possible £17m costs to us...
Can we just point out that the company's worst-case scenario (where DHSC does not buy or pay for their good) is revenue of £100m a year. £60m*4 = DHSC Q1-4 predictions for 2021 if they buy more. £340m potentially with DHSC
"Expansion underway in US market, with establishment of Novacyt US Inc and appointment of a US General Manager, with up to 10 additional hires expected in H2 2021"
We can do this. We can crack America.
At the end of the day, if we can aim to generate £500,000 per test available every year after covid (as a company with resources and a foothold), that's still £275m a year cash generation...
if NCYT had to RNS every time they got a new distributor...
Cant access it, what does it say?
My univesity, Keele, were one of the producers of the astrazenca vaccine. It allowed students to return to campus on the basis of two negative LFTs (Innova), and then again before returning home. I remember publically arguing amongst the students and staff saying these were not enough if they wanted to test. I got called clueless by the biomedical students, citing my master's, as it was in International Business, to claim I knew nothing about LFTs and PCR testing. I gave up.
Then, last week the FDA suddent say the tests are no good, and the students are still adamant they work. These are the future of your biomedical fears lol.
What makes it even better is, we just got an eemailing from the VC asking all students to go and have PCR... Seems like faculty have finally switched their views...
It's unfortunate we are likely to have a surge here, but it feels good to continue to prove that the argument from authority is null and void.
I wonder whether oddo will be able to update their target SP within 5 minutes of results, similarly to when we got into a dispute with the dhsc ..
