Hope you get better soon mate!
Gotta finish those palm trees and world maps in the sea somehow digby...
Which major company was it that was upping their PCR test production to like 30m a month for the next two years?
It makes me said pay day is next week now... managed a cheeky £900 top up still... but thats pocket change in novacyt
You know what porky, you may have a point (something I'm sure many are surprised to hear lol)
Strains may be the reason for keeping covid monitored with PCR for years to come- purely out of fear of a mutation being ineffective against the vaccine and bringing the economy to a halt again.
Please tell us the good news from AVCT? The data was heavily manipulated to ramp the price AGAIN. sample of 60 people? what was it 97% sensitivityand a specificity of 100% at only exactly ct 26 or something?
Still no products on the covid testing products on the market Ade.
It's working though porky. Even me, a holder since end of march, is thinking... Why am I still here? Like there's money to be made elsewhere. My average price is just below 400p, why not just take the profit now and look for greener pastures... And the lack of meaningful content on this BB now means I'm not being convinced that a hold is the right option.
I'll give it a couple more weeks... But Graham needs to sort his pr out fast. We are sitting ducks now for a hostile
AVCT now worth the same as novacyt... With profits of 3m... Shows what a good pr department does for a share price
I suppose that much is true. However, the accuracy of their test is based of a sample size of 26 people?! Is this going to be good enough for our government? We'll see what the WHO say.
Yeah, and the government still has 300m of those LFTs stockpiled .....
Just a shame its a year late to make any significant dent in the contracts already being handed out from the planned £22bn.
Im sure sir Al knows that a sample size of 26 people is never going to be enough to sway the governing bodies on sensitivity.
AVCT finally get a test to market, by the numbers, a half decent test. No real mention of supply networks, nor acknowledgement of the government already rolling out its next phase of covid planning- most likely without them... do we really, as a nation, want a company that takes a year to respond to a virus in charge of your safety?
Well done for the holders there, sure, cash it out when you can... its madness that AVCT made 3m during the most profitable year in living memory for small diagnostic companies and yet they're spouting off about it being a £1bn company minimum. Whats even more laughable is that they're mcap is slowly catching ours...
My cousins just been surge tested in Stafford described as, PCR (ofc) variant specific technology to her hahhah. When I told her to ask who's test it was, I was kinda hoping for out test name, rather than ambiguous responses
Could the UK government ask novacyt to transfer their HQ to London, and abandon the French stock market?
I imagine they've had a busy weekend, I sent my complaint in at 8:05 Monday morning after the switch so imagine I was near the front of the queue for this f*** up. Not sure what else I can say.... Also threatened to sue for losses incurred, little did they know I'm a kid with no spare money for a lawsuit.
Had the same problem. Email their support with the issue, they rectified it within a couple of hours. Screenshot the Holding: 0 screen and send it to them
Part of me honestly believe half of investors look at £8/share as too expensive, regardless of looking at the mcap and fundamentals... What would be the attitudes to a 10:1 stock split?
What on earth is going on with this price movement.... any reasoning?
Sorry, but I disagree.
Hype makes money. Hype gets you public interest. Hype makes headlines. Hype makes you invest.
I'm bored of it now. The games by GM have gone too far. He's ruining people's livelihoods now by maintaining this arrogant approach to PR.
It's something as simple as putting out a statement letting people know they're building a variety specific test... If you RNSed that when people were discussing the SA variant with fear, you get 10% rise. Instead, we release the test, very little info, a few weeks after variants have been discussed widely. When the vaccine news broke, RNS should have been out stating that there is little chance in demand being affected and should have said that they were increasing production (albeit maybe just increase the production by 100,000 for legality).
The RNS is as much about the content as the timings, reacting to the public fears and showing that novacyt will have your back will raise investor confidence.
Apparently I own 0 shares this morning too, daft brokers ****ing around with my holding, as it shows I've got some in my account but can't do anything with them
