Holding up a lot of trade from Asia. Would be unfortunate if these ships were full of the junk Chinese lfts and highlighted the problems with not building a diagnostics industry in your own country...

Blue light, I feel like out of sheer ignorance GM has missed his opportunity to create a great deal of hype around novacyt
I wonder if we are already seeing the big short closing
We have firmly crossed our 21-day moving average (at the time of writing this). Looks like our 21 day is about to flip into an upwards trend too. Should be nice. 200MA lies at around 610-620 so as long as we remain above that, NOVACYT SA will be a good long-term investment.
Nm
If it was us, it would explain why we know we can detect it just hours after it was discovered
The problem here is, if France have been testing from outside of state control, it's entirely plausible this variant has been undiscovered for some time.
In my opinion, they must adapt a more centralised model in order to track variants.
Additionally- I wonder who's test noticed this new variation?
Additionally, at what point do you reckon this short will end up starting to be closed?
Anyone got prices for resistance?
They inevitably will be able to... and an RNS stating that would bring back a bit of french sentiment.
Mike, if this ever heads up to porkies £50 highs, we should get a pint ;)
Nice bit of financial optimism from versalab

I'm down at Keele Uni, where they make the Astrazenca vaccine. The campus will be busy all summer without students there will only be around 500-1000 people on campus at any given time... versalab will be targeting a market in the mid-large scale operations. Imagine you get an outbreak of brazilian covid in an amazon factory- *ring ring, ring ring* "hello is that Lord GM, we could do with a high specific testing service delivered to your warehouse to help contain any possibility of viral outbreak"
Also, odd how he times this just after a short is declared. Is he playing a GM chess endgame, and we're still playing checkers
"The need for localised community testing and monitoring of COVID-19 infections looks set to continue over the next 12 months and it is our view that much of this testing could be undertaken by the private sector. Novacyt is therefore well-placed to support this growth opportunity."
Big change from the 'unpredictable' 2021 update...
Just keeping my mind stimulated as we await our results Andy ;)
Id say 80 minute turnaround is decent. Read a chapter of a book in that time.
I think the biggest problem with harassment today is that there is no definitive red lines. The red lines focus on the individual and can vastly vary from person to person. This helps support the idea that it is not the actions that can be deemed harassment, but rather the person who partakes in an action. Whilst it should be noted this is not always the case, the focus on the individual actions again suggests that harassment is more so linked to two peoples personal and sexual opinions of each other.
I use an example from my own experience. When I was in myknonos, I was fast asleep in my room (having taken a night off from the party), when two drunk girls came in and started undressing me- trying to coerce my half sleepfilled state into a threesome. However I didn't really find the two girls that attractive, and so (whilst unreported) this is really harassment, because I did not want a threesome with them. However, if two supermodels had come in and done the same thing... My pants would be off faster than the speed of light in a vacuum.
I feel, and correct me if I'm wrong, that a lot of harassment cited is often a case of an unattractive male approaching a female who deems him unattractive herself. Now if there was red lines, you could say, it is illegal to compliment a womens dress.... But just think of all those time your hot guy, "your crush" if you will, has complimented similar things and instead of getting defensive, you get butterflies....
I gotta say, thats more like it in terms of how to lick your own arse a bit more in the RNS's. I like it. Expansions behind the scenes continue.
