Mrgam, not sure if you intended sarcasm. But sometimes it pays to ask a question, even if quite obvious, to see if any other information is provided. Best to keep things civil on BBs and appreciate investors come at things from different levels of knowledge and with different lines of inquiry to secure information. Otherwise they quickly descend into acrimony and insult. I assume we are all invested here as we believe in the longer term prospects for ZEPH. Or am I being naive?

TenTon - absolutely! When I ventured to repeat the GITD reference a while back I was slated - new company etc etc. But it's not is it? Same old AIM lifestyle company milking folk. Anyway, I'm no longer invested - just having a mid afternoon nostalgic romp through a few BBs. ATB

Any legal process in The Bahamas can be quite convulated. The court of final appeal in The Bahamas is the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council based in the UK. Access to the JCPC is, in fact, one of the attractions for businesses going into the The Bahamas as it provides a level of comfort knowling that there is an 'offshore' process linked to, but perceived to be separate from, independent of local procedures/decisions. If the present case goes that far then the legal process may indeed be tied up for a while. Re share price - I am a LTH. have previously said how disappointed I am by developments over the past year including the extent of dilution. In all honesty, I have no idea where the SP will go under any scenario, pre-spud, on strike, three years after that etc. I empathise with many of the differing views on here and find myself cherry picking various points. I think there is still a premium to be had. But I can only conclude that the prize I envisaged all those years ago is long gone. So I am considering my options. Apologies for bringing the BB down a notch. Just an honest assessment framed in disappointment at the way things have turned out

Not so convinced by the possible extent of the pre-spud rise. Seems like endless dilution is dampening interest? But thoughts on best time to exit? I had thought it was when results from drill are announced. But perhaps better to wait for a farm-in once results have been digested? Thoughts from any with experience of this situation?

10B - I agree. I sold out a few months back as it was clear to me that there was a higher chance of further dilution before a JV or sale. As such, the SP will bob along in 10-14p waters. I still keep a weather eye on developments. But I have seen nothing to convince me to essentially park money here for a year or two when it can be working elsewhere. The risk I accept is getting back in a little late. On the upside, I no longer stress about extremely poor comms from the company or whether the Board will try to vote themselves more options for doing ..... what exactly? Will stop there as I made my choice and this is a Board for investors not those with no skin in the game - yet. GLA

Also very expensive - 3 nights, 2 days fishing for $2,040 for a single person. Plus airfare. Plus Departure Tax. Plus $150 fuel surcharge which is also very ECO.

My reading of the RNS is that it is a proactive piece of marketing about the measures taken to mitigate environmental risks and to play up the economic benefits. In that context, the ship is part of the mitigation strategy. This is less about proceeding to spud and more to do with being in the front foot when the environmental objections start to ramp up. The RBDF is more about coastal protection with some fast boats to intercept drug runners. It really has minimal offensive capacity. Doesn’t need it with the US next door and US Coastguard and Naval personnel based at the US Embassy in Nassau ready to support a response as required. Recognise that sinking other ships was made tongue in cheek. But worth noting RBDF capacity is low

Always been a strong environmental lobby in The Bahamas given its reliance on tourism and the impact an il spill might have on that sector. However, The Bahamas is heavily indebted with no obvious way to raise significant additonal revenues. Oil is the answer. An I think that a successful drill with commercial amounts of recoverable oil will start to put a number on likely income. That will be hard for the Govt to ignore. Great that we also have James Smith on board as a former Governor of the Bahamas Central Bank - he will be able to counsel the benefits of proceeding. Of course, if we had Mr Christie and his PLP cronies in power there might be a different dunamic. But we haven't. Next call will be from the Church for every Bahamian to be given a windfall of $10k

Mr G, I tend to agree with your analysis. Dilution and the questionable acquisition of CERP has put the brakes on the SP all with no coherent rationale (IMO). This is not the company I invested in 8/9 years ago. It is not the prospect I signed up to. And I no longer believe it will deliver the rewards I was expecting. I retain a significant (for me) investment as I believe P1 will be a success. But that success will no longer be reflected in the return I will secure. Still, at least the Board will still have jobs if it is a duster. After all, that's the real reason for CERP n'est pas? Actually, having said this is not the company I invested in - it is. Only communicate when funding is required. Having a bad day so feel free to ignore.
