In my opinion the guys trying to run this company are Muppets - just my opinion mind you - but the proof is in the share price, or pudding - but you get where I am going with this. I personally think that Casper in Germany has done a great job - and he also has the very rare distinction amongst the MMX management team to be actually taller than 5'2". Yu Ling did the best with what she had and could do - but IMO China was horrendously neglected.

Yes Flakky - so insightful. All I did was pound the table and right documents to actually launch VIP, focus on China and then work 7 days a week without sleep with Raymond in Beijing that none of you 'dudes' know to make it work. He added great value unlike the Muppets. It would have been quite a very different story to focus on dot horse as they have done for the last year or so. The results are what they are. This is my last post so feel free to have the last word as you love to do so. I just hope that a big block can trade at a great price.

China and VIP were IMO the temporary savior of MMX. The mistake I believe was not pushing to become a Chinese company with a Chinese cost structure and most importantly Chinese management and a Chinese HKEX listing rather than keeping a bunch of Muppets trying to do stuff that doesn't work. I wanted costs below $2mm pa - much lower than now. My Chinese brothers suggested $1.25mm. I did get paid relatively well that last year - about half a bar - but they didn't follow the path that I showed them.

Don't worry - even though the management share options this period may end up being worth next to nothing on the vesting period, they will still manage to renegotiate an extension, supplemental bonus or re-calibration and they financially will be just fine while the shareholders burn - quite confident of that.

I take no pleasure in the despair of others but that potential acquisition and RNS, and the need for a standby credit line from a major shareholder probably due to lack of clarity of revenue to support the - to say it kindly - robust/insane -cost structure can only be interpreted one way. If these guys supposedly invested in Digital Town and it was material, imo they would have to do an RNS - which I haven't seen. I hope they just did a 'domain name barter deal' as at least from my very cynical view, I don't have any confidence in Mr. Monster.

It's in everyone's interest to see a higher share price. I sincerely hope it materialises. MMX has a history of being hard on shareholders, but at least for now the upcoming vesting period of management's share options creates a (temporary) alignment of interests. Let's hope for a higher share price. As for the 'process', deals that don't get papered don't get done.

I have not been friendly toward the company in the recent past but this valuation is just insanely low. This is not an 'exploration - hope and dream' company - it is producing with real assets. To see the share price at this ridiculously low level really hurts even though I sold higher. It appears that the 'process' went no-where but maybe now it will? At these levels IMO for a major industry player it is a real no brainer to get a foot hold and turn this one to the good.

After the Denver Gold conference, Barrick is trading much better. The ABX President did not say anything specific about Acacia but reading between the lines he seems to suggest that as long as talks are ongoing that they are hopeful for a positive result. There is no knowing how long talks can go on but since the Notice of Arbitration was filed by Acacia I would assume that there is a 3-6 month cooling off period and that is what they are working to trying to avoid the formal process. My lawyer friends who specialize in investor state arbitration anticipate that if it did come to an ICSID Arbitration, Tanzania would lose and would have to pay Acacia for loss and damages suffered.It would really hurt the investment case for the country and cost ACA time and money to fight - so hopefully this can be avoided.

But those discussions are ongoing. So hopefully it will be something to report in near term.

It was released in an RNS vetted by their NOMAD so export is not in question. The disposition of the seized packet is subject to resolution. I suggest Tanzania try selling it for $29.5 mm and see what happens. Poof of the pudding is in the eating ... but this is Africa.
