I'd agree with the choice of manufacturer was purely a decision of necessity due to the fall through if our previous supplier. They attained a new supplier, and an estimated date of arrival through RNS stating 6 months. It took 6 months. Happy with the Result

I know I said I doubt the use ISO standards, but thats because unlike our German counterparts, some British firms, although have ISO certification, fail in their implementation of practice and are inspected annually on compliance to do business. Lot of brushing under the carpet, scraping through. But takes nothing away from their ability to manufacture parts.

I prefer their inspection, that the health and safety brigade who rock up unannounced, and ask you to do things that not only prevent you doing a good job, buy actually make it unsafe!! Those I just wait to leave haha

Then we are on the same page, that the Kiln will be of quality standard as instructed and inspected by the manufacturer who won't be in the business of selling old cars with dodgey motors, only high spec mercs with proven quality.

So you agree I'm not talking boulderdash? For suggesting they make quality steel. ISO, AMST, EN classification will most definitely be standard. Otherwise they would struggle doing business internationally. They are not fools, they have a bad cred, but they can produce high quality industrial components to compete internationally.

Suppliers are the difficult areas, customer relations. China are difficult in that sense, what quality issues arise.

That is a perfect reason patx, why we choose European steel, lead times, accountability etc. Any steel used on say an Aircratt has to have certifies going right back through the chain to its origins and production. Batch made, for irregularities and perhaps better to deal with a more transparent line of information.

He asked a valid question, and asked for engineers to reply. I never critised his question, only added I felt Chinese steel is of high quality. Through experience working with such, I never said it was better, or that its superior to European but still of high enough quality. Having machined steels various, from England, mainland Europe and China I felt I was ok to reply.

To be told I'm just talking out my backside, is just how it goes here. And I'm sure a comment will follow, saying I'm creating the argument and playing the victim.

Not very good attitude for debate, to say the kiln will be of bad quality because its Chinese made is misguided.

Plenty of reasons to choose Western steel, better partnerships, lead times, accountability, pattern design protection etc.

I work with steels, ferrous, non ferrous, stainless, tool steel, chrome plated, Titanium and many many other materials that require precision engineered into all sorts of components. So someone who has spent 25 years machine every material known to man, i know a bit about quality. Ours is high quality, but there's isn't too bad in comparison. So you are saying there's are terrible workmanship? Awful metals? They build a lot of efficient infrastructure I'm recent times. I think there's are of admirable quality

China, for all their shoddy toys and cheap electrics. Produce top quality steels under the most proficient methods.

With NH2 already awarding us the FEED contract and it reliant on the Data being able for presentation January 2025 for planning process, then its safe to say it's due any time soon. But could argue a case for first week of January, it just depends on Testing, and how long it takes to analyse the data and put it into a presentation package. They said December testing, it's still early

I joined forums for EEE, but that BB had a real heavy LTH hierarchy and was up like 500% so it was difficult to discuss things, with a low post count, I was concerned on such rises, that the natural process of a junior mining would kick in and tough times ahead. I just got abuse, sell, your an idiot, you don't know what your talking about.

My time here in the space of a year has been defined by disagreements, arguments and insults from both a reactionary and self creation from how I assumed people behaved, to the realisation that seems to be the MO on forums. I don't normally get into these things, mainly because I'm used to dealing with people in person so I'm quite amicable and respectetful, and my tone and demeanour are evident in person.

Here, I just look like an abusive, Narcissist prick. I'll work on it, but I genuinely just come to these forums for information, advice sharing and fun.
