Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
SIPPn00b, why do you not consider the JPM bonds the next biggest risk.
Sheps8, I guess it all comes down to expectation when you first invest and what happens along the journey to the fulfilment of that expectation. I am not taking any side on this but the list that RUSirius gave is compelling and if you gave that to someone not invested they may ask why is he still the CEO. Before you ask I am a share holder
The reference to the US may just be referring to JP Morgan and the bonds and nothing more.
Druss, you should calm down, I think we both have been here long enough to know the mine is being built. We were talking about the LTH's that have went off the radar over the last few days. Perhaps you could do me a favour and join them.
That's my take on it as well Fred, let all the "told you so, I sold at 39p brigade" got it out of there system and let them move on. I do miss Myo he always finds some links to the build that cheers me up.
Druss, I will take up the OO and I have sold some shares to buy back at the lower price but I will have to decide on my next move and plan to wait until the OO is closed and see where the SP drift to. I had enough share based on a 10p dividend but that is blown out of the water so I either buy more or look elsewhere for a return. I may devide and wait until the selling of the bonds is confirmed before throwing more money at this. Lots to think about but in no rush.
Your 300-400% is fine for anyone who has an average of 15p but how many have achieved that or lower, not many most have an average in the mid 20's
Is the market open on Monday, I thought it was a holiday.
Where did you read about them running out of money in 3 to 4 weeks time. I would not worry about Gina do you think she only got offered 1 share for every 22 she has bought. I don't think so. The PI's are the only ones that got shafted again.

I think the only way of seeing that range is to hope that the TBM's are averaging 20 plus m a day and the SBR doing 5 plus m a day if the January20 quarterly update stated first poly expected January 21 but the overhang of new bonds will take many months to offload as some will want a quick buck.I will not be buying anymore until all the bonds have been sorted out.
This is far from done and dusted and should we believe anything the CF says from now on I think we should get someone from JPM to tell us how it is going as the credibility of CF has gone in my eyes. Stage 2 dead line is now September once the vanilla bonds are gone then the SP will recover until then everyone or just me will wait for that day. We criticise the government for delaying brexit but we have done the same but are pretending it is sorted.
I hope we do not sign anymore TorPs as we have enough for the first 5 or so years of production. I want yearly contract signed at the highest price possible with whoever is willing to pay. Time to maximise the value of the product not give it away at half price.
I wonder what info they had about the ST2 deal when they were talking about the re-rate and what time span for this to happen. All we can hope for is a good dry summer and progress at all 3 sites run like clockwork.
Just read what I posted and guess we are the qualifying share holders. Doh
Jonesrichard, where did you read that the pi's are getting a placing offer. This is from the stage 2 RNS
" The Company intends to raise approximately 90 per cent. of the gross proceeds of the Firm Placing and Placing and Open Offer through the Firm Placing at the Issue Price to certain institutional investors.
· Approximately 10 per cent. of the underwritten Firm Placing and Placing and Open Offer will be through the conditional Placing, pursuant to which the Joint Bookrunners and the Lead Manager intend to conditionally place the Open Offer Shares with certain institutional investors at the Issue Price, subject to clawback to satisfy valid applications by Qualifying Shareholders under the Open Offer."
I hope we would but I don't see it but hope to be corrected.
When is this likely to happen I am not sure if I can buy some shares just now and have spare cash available when the open offer arrives.
I have kept some cash for this equity so to offset the dilution. Going in early to work so I can be at my desk for 7 and read the RNS if it arrives. GLA
If Warren is looking at the FTSE 350 does anyone know what other companies would offer a great capital gain opportunity and high future dividend that would be better than SXX and is fully funded to production (I hope). I know we think the chances of him investing is very slim but perhaps we are doing this share a mis-service by excluding him.
This is from the RNS
"The Company is working towards obtaining firm commitments for the Alternative Proposal and its additional financing requirements before the end of April 2019. The Alternative Proposal is subject to the finalisation of the Financial Institution's due diligence and internal approvals.
Further announcements will be made in due course."
It does not say they will give us an update at the end of April just that they are working towards commitment letters by then.
