Does anyone know what normal market size is in AML, it’s probably about 10,000 shares and anything above that the market makers can offer you a higher price when buying and a lower price when selling, this protects the market from big sellers dumping stock, if the mm’s got offered 5m shares for example they would work the order into the market over the day, they are not going to sit on 5m shares themselves as the market could crash on them.
Normal market size is a very important factor which protects the market makers.

I wouldn’t worry about a big holder selling the market has to be fed when it’s rising, years ago as a example I had a large stake in a. I called Rab Capital and knowing I had the holding we would often get bids off market makers bidding on my holding, and my broker would always advise me to feed the market, it helps the stock rise.
Probably at the moment the large holders are feeding other institutions stock so they can build positions which helps the stock run up and they get some of of them bigger players on board should they do further fundraising.

Don’t forget we are 4% down after, 5/10/15% risers, if this finishes above .80p today it would be amazing and set for a run on a £1+, they may then consider a further rights issue for ‘all’ shareholders, the shareholders who participated in the last placing are now sitting on a 100% profit(assuming the placing was at 30pish)

They reckon fear & greed drives markets, and momentum is a powerful force, could go a lot further as investors jump in fearing they’ll miss out.
But profits not a dirty word and nothing wrong with banking a few quid, I’m not I’m greedy and at this level still scared of missing another leg up.

Meaning taken into account dilution.

A lot or earlier posts were saying £2.80 would be the equivalent of the old IPO price of £19.

Cheers, I’m actually praising Range Rover for turning the co round and pointing out that we AML has superior brands in the first place, they just need to turn the business round now.

Maybe they don’t want a ‘’better one’ of what they consider the ‘best one’.
Sometimes you can have too much choice, as with Mercedes far too many models and hard to differentiate in terms of price, a £50,000 car looks no different than say a £70,000 car.
Maybe it’s a case of their putting their best foot forward.

The worst ‘dog of a vehicle’ was the Range Rover, it was ugly, a horrible built and real farmers vehicle, in fact they ripped the engine out and put a diesel Perkins engine to use on farmers fields
But in fairness to Land Rover they revamped it and it has become the ‘Chelsea tractor’, a rich woman’s vehicle of choice for the rich ladies to do the school run, not being sexist but it’s true, the value of which still drops like ca stone due to oversupply and they end up with amazing deals but s... residual values.
By contrast AML SUV is stunning, great design and you can honestly see it falling between the Bentley SUV and the oversupplied Range Rover, and I believe the richer ladies will like the classy look of the car, and because the market won’t be flooded the residual value will be good, in fact I believe it will sell at a premium.
The luxury goods market weathers recession better than other markets which is a historical fact.
So we have Stroll who understands the luxury branding business who is investing in his passion, Moers coming in from Mercedes plus others, everything is in place for a dramatic recovery in terms of the company and ultimately the share price.
If Land Rovers ‘dog’ can do it AML certainly can.

Being up on a day when all the bad news is out in the open is a great sign, f... knows where the sp will go on the next positive announcement, infinity & beyond(we hope)

Peel were right for one day??, then it climbed more or less everyday since!

It’s more or less back at yesterday’s highs I honestly think it will crack 70p later today.

By the end of the week if not today analysts will be working through the figures and setting ‘new targets’, don’t forget Peel Hunt published a sell note the other week valuing the shares at 30p, but it’s a changing game by the day and America is now saving there hasn’t been as much economic disruption as they expected, don’t forget markets are about buying the future not dwelling on the past.

Although it’s sad when jobs are lost we are not here to worry about that, we are here to make money and bought into a company haemorrhaging cash.
So today they’ve announced 500 jobs are to go with a saving of in the region of 20-25m(based roughly on 500 employees at £40,000) a year.
So hopefully they turn the corner and the share price go’s up and staff get re-employed
