When you see bits of 1 & 2’s it’s normally 212 who want let your funds go less than 95% of your order, so sometimes it leaves you with a few quid to spend, so most of the time it’s finishing off a bigger order, it’s stupid it’s peoples money to spend how they wish.

Rox, I have been buying today & do most days, that’s probably how I day trade, although I’ve tried to stop calling the bottom now.
I honestly believe a lot of people underestimate the difficulty in day trading.
Buying at the offer, selling at the bid, buying back at the offer, and then it’s only worth the bid again.
The spread can be enormous but seems as if it’s dismissed by many.
If you were doing it in lots of between 10,000 to 25000, you could easily lose 100 to 250 shares if you get it wrong.
My problem is I would jump back in to soon as o like to be fully invested,

I don’t believe Stroll is manipulating the share price down, but ‘at this moment’ he is just getting on with business, and I believe it may suit the company that the share price doesn’t become inflated and then it becomes a burden as the financial press start projecting big expectations to soon.
But what we do know is that the seller IndustrialInvestor have moved something like 130m shares in the last few months, that amount flooded on to the market could send the sp down very quickly to 20p, so the seller is doing the sales in a measured way.
Which means there must be a buyer/buyers on the other side, they are also doing the buying in a measured way, they don’t want to alert the market. and the price runs up.
It’s a game of cloak & daggers, and I said yesterday I believe the buyer to be Daimler
Also IndustrialInvestor has been loaning stock to investors to short, so there’s a right ‘tug of war’ going on.
The sp at the moment is not of great concern to the management, they know if you do ‘the right thing’, the sp will eventually reflect that.
From a pr point of view it would be foolish to be all ‘singing & dancing’ in case there is another lockdown & then we’d be calling them all the idiots going,
‘Slowly, slowly catches the monkey’.

3300, they just checking their current position with regard to their holding, on a positive note there is getting ‘less & less’ to loan out, ‘good news‘ will see a mad scramble for stock to close, this can cause a ‘technical bounce’ on top of the news.

At least ‘we’ got a response.
On the bright side if it’s a stock loan and as it will be used to short then they have to buy in the market to close the position.

Thanks for the message into the team. The 4.12% was out on loan to 2 October as per the TR-1 form when they notified us of their changed holding in August. We are checking with them as, depending on the details of that, it could be that the DTR 5% threshold is the one to think about (which they are already under) rather than the 3% - hence no further disclosure of a change in the position.

Had a reply of Charlotte but can’t disclose the details, 3300 wouldn’t believe it anyway.

Rox, we can all be wise after the event, of course I wish I’d done that & have had numerous opportunities but remember I was also buying in the 30/40 range previously, in fact if you look at individual trades buying in at these prices is expensive.
But it’s all about the average, otherwise your kidding yourself/ourselves.

I know, but it’s ‘deja vu’ fed up of averaging down, it’s got to the point barely anything is moving my average.

3300, what happened to not putting any more money in, and not averaging down again?
I’m trying to do sweet fa, but buying is tempting but business is quiet, Sod’s law.
