Rox, for the board to have any integrity we should all be able to have a say, take the other day 3300 called me a t..., and you called me a bully.
So took a bit of time out and in spite of what I got called I realised I had been baiting 3300, and she bit, so although I didn’t condone the use I come to the conclusion you guys may have a point.
Apologies we’re offered & accepted by both parties, but if we don’t call each other out now & again, then there’s no reason for being here.

Dimi the problem with your theory is simple, if making money was that easy everyone would do it, we’d all buy a computer programme & use algorithms.
Something gets in the way called ‘life’.
And a million unexpected things can happen, and quite a few do happen.
The other day it was biotech was too expensive, then it rocketed, you said you bought 130,000 pieces, next thing you have 800,000.
I think your all over the place m8, compulsive, erratic etc.
I’m not having a go I just think anything can work for a short time, longevity is the name of the game.
I might be wrong but I just try and not buy & sell, stubbornness and time work better for me.

I just feel with trading you can end up losing shares you’ve bought & paid for to try and get some extra shares, each to their own.

Nicky I’ve done what you have and just plugged away on the lows, one time my average was 90p so it’s took a lot of buying but if it go’s up I’ll smash it, I’m sitting tight as you say selling the hard part.

3300, you have done well to get your average down I thought it was around 58p mark, I’ve not traded except the odd jaunt into VIR but still got a average of 57p, have you now stopped day trading on AML?

Rox, I agree with that but when ever I doubt someone or post I get accused of being ‘suspicious’, guilty as charged.
I think posting averages up is as far as posters should go, but it’s each to their own.

Most of us are sitting on losses but if we have kept the faith, and put our faith in the right place our time will come.

Rox, you should stick to negotiating ‘peace treaty’s’.

By supporting the sp at a certain level, shorters will use all endeavours to drive the price down, we look for good news, shorters try & spook the market by finding or inventing bad news.
I’m not trying to talk up a deal but if the company is doing a deal which includes shares or bringing investment in they want a stable share price we’re all parties consider it a fair price, say the sp jumped to £1 it could scupper negotiations as anyone looking to do a deal would walk away as they would consider the sp full of hot air.

Trader, no just kept it light, I’ve learned you get very little from them and don’t forget any deals are passed to them after they’re done, rarely would they be part of them except to advise on spin, that’s why I was pleased with what he said.
Really it’s what we suspected but the other way round, it’s a tug of war between long & short, I think we have the upper hand in terms of a improving business, they think covid19 is their ally with regards to the price falling.
Can you imagine the sheer panic amongst shorters if the virus is proved to be mutating to a weaker form just like SARS did, which is my personal belief.

Arsenalles, as I say it’s emotive and can get terse, you get annoyed when losing money, and then if your making money you don’t know whether to sell & bag a profit because you fear missing a bigger rise.

Powerunit say if the price was going below 49p the company could step in and buy a bit of stock to ease the downward pressure, if then go’s up they can sell or hold it.
There’s nothing illegal or unethical about that, companies normally hold stock in treasury for deals such as staff incentives, or they can even cancel stock to force the price up if they feel it’s to liquid.
Interestingly enough AML hold no stock in treasury which is unusual as they may normally make it part of a incentive to lure top staff.
That may come soon a staff share option scheme linked to hitting specific targets.

Soul you missing the point, they’re not trying to push the price up, they’re protecting the shorters from pushing it down.

There are two companies who have increased their short positions, but if you look on the graph the short positions are nearer the lows.
Seems to bear out what he was saying as they will close their positions if they can’t force the price down.
Shorters are probably not expecting AML to crash they are possibly betting on another lockdown forcing the price down.
I think most of us believe there will be no full lockdown, cases are certainly rising but they’re now saying recoveries are up to 99%.

It makes sense if you think about it, if you own a share you can sit there forever, if you are short you have to buy at a set time to close the share, so if they’re stopped forcing the price down they’re in trouble if good news hits, and can create a massive technical bounce.
