I would imagine Abingdon will want to buy the manufacturing and patent rights to the Vatic test ...I hope they can as I can't see them pass that opportunity by . Perhaps that's what all the SP activity is all about !

P.s. that FDA approval is the one bit of news I've been really hoping for . I'm sure Vatic will take off without it but it would certainly help it along the road .

Yes I'm sure they will ..plus the Vatic test KnowNow is very clever and highly sensitive and really does have great potential ....especially as it's mutation proof ! . I hope Vatic can get FDA approval for emergency use but it does seem to be taking some time !

I personally don't think there is a danger that Abingdon will go into liquidation . As long as Covid keeps on rearing it's ugly head in different guises . That will be it's main source of income that will keep it afloat . The price as it stands is near enough the cash it holds in the bank . Given the potential of flu and lymes which are in the pipeline there remains lots of potential here . As I mentioned before Lymes Disease is a real problem in North East USA and Americans are fully aware of the dangers of it . They also love to self-test and in general self-testing has become a World-wide trend thanks to Covid (if it's at all possible to thank Covid for anything ) . So whole populations have become used to it .
I think there is a strong possibility of a merger or takeover if the share price remains this low for any length of time . If Abingdon get a few large contracts then that merger possibility is even greater . I think Abingdon have turned a corner and with the SP as it stands the only way is up ! ...my views....so please come to your own conclusions !

Well the SP has been absolutely hammered...so the options are these ....
1 News = hefty profit
2 No News = TAKEOVER (at these levels ) with a hefty profit .
Conclusion.... win-win situation .

HappyDays , I just think it's anticipation of the publushed year end results and the net asset value compared to the share price coupled with general enthusiasm on future projects.

Covid isn't ever going away so it will be Abingdon's bread and butter . Then there is flu and lymes disease in the pipeline...lymes is a real menace in USA so there's big potential here . This price is ridiculously cheap and in my book it's a nobrainer !

I think now that the cloud of the court case has gone potential customers will be much more confident that Abingdon can deliver ...so I would expect some news on deals pretty shortly ??

P.s. with the Datar method the heat treatment is only at 37 degrees C ..which is normal human body temperature and this is for 100hrs and I believe it's to encourage the growth of the cancer clusters under lab conditions .

Phantom I know Parsortix captures clusters it's the Datar clusters I'm trying to find out about .

Here is further proof that Datar aren't that impressed with mechanical means of capture , this is a direct quote from my link below ....

Datar can provide cancer clusters which are (I assume) alive as everything else is killed off during a 5 day period because the cancer clusters are resistant to whatever is killing the healthy cells . These cancer clusters will provide a larger sample of the parent tumor . Can someone tell me where Angle fit in to this please ?? The mass screening market is huge so they really do need to get in on it !

From the competition angle (no pun intended) I was thinking more of hospitals . They would have the option of sending a patient's blood to a lab run by Datar and then waiting a week or so for the results . Alternatively they could invest in a Parsortix machine and do their own series of tests....or send it to an Angle lab for testing .

The point I'm trying to make here is that Datar are a direct competitor for Angle . They even have a position with breast cancer and prostate cancer in the USA ...it's a different method but gives similar results. See this link on their website ....

What do they mean by "the mechanical hobbling or stresses typical of microfluidic devices " .
How would Angle provide anything that would help in their methods ?

This is how Datar do it ....It seems that they culture the cancer cells to form clumps and then kill off all other cells leaving the remaining clumps which are resistant and I presume still live and intact .

Phantom , I do think it's going to be a long wait ...whilst waiting for news I'm going to try to do some bottom feeding ! There is real potential here but it's going to take time .
