"Mate" I think I made a few k some years ago buying at about 11p and selling at 26p when we had better "suited" BOD in place ie Paul C.
I have then on and off held and sold sometimes flat sometimes loss but generally speaking CGT offset so I'd say am "probably" still in some small profit over the many many years.
I didn't like how Paul C "appeared" to have been pushed out by the "powers that be" (possibly due to share underperformance compared to peer groups?). At the time I certainly didn't think Hughie was suited to such a role but thought he would be given similar time lines and pfmce targets that previous mgt were expected to achieve but ironically this is very obviously NOT the case.
So am surprised that Hughie at al have "survived" so long after such decisive and relatively quick treatment of previous mgt.

I'd say it has a lot to do with the "risk reward" profile of EOG rather than "media presentation relationship" although certain share price "probability" presentation sheets havnae helped lol!!
Anyways Antony I checked me average and surprisingly (to me anyway lol!) My average is actually 3p so not so positive as I first thought lol.
Let's hope we can finally land something with Inishkea and can extricate ourselves from this "mess" hopefully with a (probably less than originally forecast for a lot of pi's) small profit as well.

I haven't been de ramping Antony?! . If you read my texts I clearly state I think inishkea will come to something. I have no idea when? It could be one month it could be another year.
What I have done is crystallise a taxable loss and tsf to a tax free vehicle at exactly the same time so I hardly profited from my de ramping?!
Let me be clear though I am very critical of the mgt because I believe (IMHO!!!!) that a lot has been wasted chasing G&G dreams, from that which was inherited from the previous mgt, who at least had an excellent diversified base of potential assets which spread the risk more imho. I bought for thus not an Irish dream of mega finds.
By the way I could have got my inishkea assumption totally wrong. Just because there has been a minor discovery on the block certainly does not mean there is anything commercial there. There are also other "nearby" blocks with (IMHO!!!) equally compelling geology.
I genuinely wish all holders well here, as any increase in share price helps us all but if someone mis states things I'll always give my opinion.
You'll all be glad to know I'm a little busy now so will not be able to post for sometime!!

4. I've been proven right on everything I've posted. If you'd care to read back on his posts you'll see who has posted "drivel" but yes guys the board is a much better place with him here and me not, lol
5. My average at mmt is about 2.5 purchase price as I have offset losses against other gains and re-purchased.
6. However as mentioned many many times this and aex (where funnily enough I get on other people nerves as well) are at the "high-risk gamble money" end of my portfolio and I don't care if they go bust.
7. I continue to hold because I personally think there is a 50% chance of getting a "reasonable" inishkea farm down.

Yes still a holder still with around a million shares I think.
I continue to post on here because a lot of people were very personally rude to me and I just come back to remind them that had they listened to me (rather than some BRILLIANT researchers) perhaps they wouldnt have lost so much money?
My point being, there were one or two on here who actually knew what they were talking about versus some other posters on here who continually wrote upbeat crap which of course was what everyone wants to read.
A "couple" of them (probably same person) were particularly rude to me and have never apologised. I think it is very dangerous to have "cheerleaders" who are followed religiously who actually generally don't really know what they are talking about, who shout down others, as it will potentially produce more disappointment for the "fans" in the longer run.
There is a good example of the same on Aex however that person has disappeared for the moment. Ironically now I am not sure which is a safer bet between aex and eog. I always used to think eog but not so sure now.

I've worked with companies where that tactic was definitely done imho plus even bringing forward budgets and yearly phasing to pressure the "little partners" who could be seen to be troublesome and not worth the "time/effort" in a "big(ger) boys" JV.

Tanzania I know you're old buddy and will not comment about intellect of respect but I'm afraid your memory fails you. I was the first poster to congratulate the board on this forum and initially "dweaky" was weeaallly weeallly angry about this deal (which he was NEVER Never going to support) and took a quite some time to finally realise that due to the crap delivery of previous "managment" this was actually not a bad deal considering the corner they had been forced into.
