The difference being that now iog has some cash to negotiate further now from a position of (relative to b4) strength. The down side to this is that the jv can risk there isn't competition for the assets and wait for thus money to finish as well? I think one question is what is the the impact in the analysts risked npv profile now versus the old one post assumed dilution and JV and timings thereof? Mate again wtgr the oil / gas price now doesn't make any difference all regardless of $20 or $80. It is the price in the farminees medium (5yr +) to long term (10 to 15 year +) economic model that matters. Today's price is an irrelevance. All imho of course.

Ffs guys I'm an eta holder and to be clear 20p at this time was a very fair offer for iog. This us the way it us and as a smaller holder of iog there are lots of potential bumps in the road. I can get to a share price if maximum 35p in 2 years time using my own analysis but this is heavily caveated and has assumptions regarding jv and fully diluted shares of circa 500mm. An awful awful lot can go wrong in those assumptions and delivery. Regardless of silly statements like we've won the battle, the real battle now is to make something of this real real f up by iog mgt. My main question us will the tel conference be recorded and put in Web site because I have a feeling ivwill not be able to take part. I am so so p***ed off with this but becayse like rxd I had thus as one of my absolute safest plays due yo the professionalism and e kerience if previous mgt. I am incredibly surprised / bemused they have f'd up in such a way and have zero trust in them and part new team now especially looking at FM corporate (not technical) experience to date. I actually posted reply stating as some one who turned a place down at both welbeck (there's a blast from the past) and Sandhurst I understood the complexity of CO versus NCO definition. I also stated that the "mgt" of iog have done far far more harm to the share price and long term value of iog than any small punters on here. I ended the post congratulating the self serving Fiona and Andrew for their strategy and caveated everything as ever being imho.
