I'm not a de ramper. I state facts and risks as I personally see them and hold far far more shares than dweaky.
I was ridiculed for my expectation of the farm down terms which actually proved to be far more accurate then anyone else's.
All of the preposterous mm conspiracy theories from people who didn't understand even the simplest trading concepts of dual listed companies, as if this is an excuse for their own investment timings and purchases absolving them of "responsibility" have come to nothing now.
So to be clear I am a holder and not a De ramper who has made my own mistake(s) by investing in Aex which may or may not come good next year.
I made my own decisions based upon my own analysis and acceptable risk profiles and certainly not by crap posted on here!
Simple nothing more than that!

Mkt perception of mgt possibly discounting asset value? Ie instead of "mgt premium" a "mgt discount"?

Couldn't agree more chaps the combined o&g investment expertise of dweaks, CP and Tanzania is frightening.
They should set up an e&p investment vehicle when the cash finally comes rolling in for Aex and publicly list it.

I think if they have rns'd previously about recent well results with associated time lines for farm downs then as soon as decision made and for consistency reasons, as opposed to materiality, they should rns any update on this, as soon as is known or else anyone, may infer the bod are up to their previous tricks of rns'ing good potential news then quietly brushing under the carpet when these do not crystallise as expected.
This phenomenon is known as "Hughieusm" named after now departed CEO of eog!!

As marmite as rxdav was, I liked his attitude and he got a lot of stick on here but he has been shown to be definitely right to date.
Let's hope the bod prove me and rxdav wrong (at the time of meeting) and the supporters right? As I say I am still a holder here and took a large loss which was good to offset gains elsewhere and I am happy with the amount and price I re purchased at but for me the bod very much need to prove themselves.
This will come good eventually but certainly not give the returns previously wished for!!

Cheers Antony appreciated. Did u ask anything about Hugh departure as it does seem strange if the farm out is in relatively close time frame to complete? Perhaps "break down" over differing interpretation of acceptable terms?

Well it depends.
If doing nothing is "rationalizing" a diversified portfolio to creating a one shot pony whilst raising confetti placing(s) then I'd prefer they genuinely did nothing.
However on a (more) serious note, it must not be forgotten, the structure of EOG assets and current "future / problems" of said company is not just down to one man it is due to the WHOLE under performing "mgt" team.
