Drewky in my experience the development licence is quite technical. It is about ehs/g&g interpretation and the development plan/finance costs of course and whilst legal aspects crop up it is essentially a 'technical submission'. As ever imho.

BG I don't know 're ARA? Why? They were only 29% owners then and if I were Aex I wouldn't really want them getting too close to such a document until farm down signed? All imho of course.

Mate if they brought in a company solicitor to do that Id laugh my arse off!! This is a technical document not for the over paid solicitors!!

Also let's be honest drewky do you really feel they are a strong mgt team? Not only does this cover cost efficient timely delivery of pre publicised performance indicators / milestones but also good pr upon this delivery and, good communications why and when things don't go to plan. If this doesn't happen people will naturally and fairly just assume it is because of their own mistakes that they do not want to openly advertise as such?

My point being with this regard is that if someone has not got direct experience of such a submission previously I could guarantee it would be far far more efficient to get an experienced contractor in who has that's all. As ever imho.

Well planning far far away from a commitment! Weren't we conducting pre well studies as well? Whilst I realise that specific well design different from pre well studies have they stipulated that or us it just the fact that such costs are in the budget for next year?

Drewky ffs go back and read my posts I've always and always consistently stated this. If u remember it was specifically linked to my questions pre agm. What concerned me was that numpty city who run aex arrogantly thought they knew everything which was required and hence when it was finally reviewed a significant amount of 're work was required which could have been avoided Pro actively? Development licence application is quite a complicated dicument drewky. As I say when been party to one previously there was a lot if to'ing and fro'ing making sure both parties perfectly aligned. I certainly wouldn't want to be doing this sub Sahara and green but do I detect an arrogance about aex mgt sometimes?! All imho and dyor!! Bloody hell surprisingly lol at CP's Schrodingers cat analogy but to correct someone about being in 2 places at one time it is in fact about being in 2 states at one time. I could never get me head around that unless we are talking nano seconds?

Cp don't patronise me. How many situations have you worked on where you were waiting on govt approval of a development? I have worked on at least three and whilst most were not particularly material to the company to be heavily scrutinised we certainly had internal senior mgt to keep updated. In all occasions I have a feeling we had a different methodology of validating delivery dates but again we were very careful in any messaging we gave and I cannot remember a time got our estimates wrong three times. Once chance twice coincidence third time - something wrong. Not saying this will not go ahead but something is wrong with regard to communications and expectations and I'd say simply because this team are out of their depth. Christ I'd be (very) happy for a lowball offer from zubs now!! What does this tell anyone of the future for other aex assets? Every important date always last minute and always zilch communications. All imho of course and as ever dyor!!

Guys so f'ing what?! The fact that you are discussing such detailed crap is what's so wrong. Why on Earth do we have to discuss this crap? They must have a very good idea if it is or isn't going ahead and should have the manners and respect to update shareholders as soon as that is apparent? If they are waiting (again) for last minute falling into place why does this always happen? Just shoddy lower quartile mgt. Simple. All imho and dyor !!

Drewky what's your opinion as to that which will happen next? R U still confident transaction will take place prior to end of November and if not any idea when?

They will not get a vote 're transaction of course, JB just got that plain wrong but what's new with that? However for all normal business they will get votes Tarry I would have thought? All imho of course.

Me I said that after I lost the opportunity to effectively crystallise a cgt loss with these I'd hang around to the bitter end. I also said I'd consider buying below 1p as long as circumstances had not deteriorated to them looking like going bust? Me I'm just having fun watching all the numpties change their stances from anger and 'they've definitely got time to get all this sorted by end of November comments' to 'well I always thought this would be tight and its all the govt fault type of stuff" whilst hoping all the sweat running off their foreheads doesn't crash their laptops?! Tarry it's got f all to do with the drilling crew. It's the on site geologist (normally a contractor and known to / worked with) the geologist in ho reviewing the results?! It is solely aex fault no one elses and IF there is gas there a monumental f up but probably, as earlier alluded to by me, because the well was a f up! Again aex fault as it will be their company man determining final decisions on well operations etc. All imho and as ever dyor.
