Yes but the spread better have to lay off their exposure, if material for them, which means holding shorts officially which are then reported officially!! There has been no reporting whatsoever of shorting. This is complete madness. No one is shorting Aex materially. The sp is where it is because of mgt complete abject under pfmce of aex mgt team for many years. Simple. There are obviously some intelligent posters on here but to keep up this charade just emphasises further there is too much emotion attached to these shares. Normally bond raised in prevailing currency of expected costs and preferably revenues? Unfortunately not the case here as the major costs are likely to be different from GBP? Hence bond 'could' conceivably be sterling denominated except would have thought the Nords would have preferred Euro dollar hence a need to hedge against this possible forex exposure?

I believe we (bod) have slept walked into this scenario supported by a low share price constantly falling over the years strapping share holders constantly holding in for jam tomorrow promises. I am not saying this is definitely the case but mgt of much heralded Holmwood assets looks to be atrocious. If we don't get this Irish farm out it will be very bad news for perception of these assets and I am certainly not a fan of Morocco assets. Ah ok. You can have really quite hefty 'fines' (which often look and feel unfair) for paperwork errors and late filings etc.

C Perkin hear exactly what your person is saying and tend to agree however there are other comments to add. I always feel they f'd up the well and hence were not in a good position to investigate further on depth which you always try to do - to find 'end' of 'pay'. Also am very surprised they talk about inches now when wtgr I (personally) would HEAVILY caveat that this talk is very much still unknown and uncertain which is why I am surprised they feel able to talk so authoritatively now??!! (But why stop a 'tradition / habit) built over the years Lol?) CP agree totally if zubs really wanted to play hard ball (and gamble a little and potentially waste some time for their own plans) they could have waited for aex to go bust and just take over assets? C Perkin did u go to (solo) meeting? R U seriously saying they now think this was a 'compartment of the main reservoir'!? F me how long did they take to work that one out? From my pov more evidence of a drill f up and (even worse?!) a significant g&g f up?! (More and more reasons why they will never be trusted with only being zubs bag carriers in Tanz.?!) However even if they have just 'discovered' another new compartment (as opposed to the 'main reservoir') this should (if comes upstream b4 Xmas) help with the cashflow issues!! Why has anyone talking about t/o (or whatever?) for aex 'assets'? It is quite obvious no other entity in current not is remotely interested in aex assets except zubs?! The esteemed bod have set up a structure that would make it very difficult to take over aex anyway even if the assets were desirable? All imho and dyor of course!!

Exactly oitf no farm down and I'd expect the bod to resign en masse from a moral compass perspective. Ahem lol!! I can only assume the multi multi share purchasers in placement were convinced with regard to this farm down integrity?

Posted by me on adv. Interested in other people's views etc. Hang on let's get some realism here. Everyone knows I am absolutely no fan of eog mgt structure however from my viewpoint I am "happy" where we currently are IF it is true about the farm down details. I think we should give them until end of January latest. I am personally pleased that they have provided good publicised detail as to where they are and am happy they appear to have a really interested party. I can only assume the placing is to either do work which will be back costed or will be reflected in their retained equity post farm down? If no signature then this will be pretty bleak and I'd expect mass resignations as am NOT AT ALL interested in Morocco!! All imho of course.

I don't think we will learn any more from solo meeting today. Also (private) "slips of the tongue" previously heard, have never really come to fruition either? We are expecting a circular soon which should provide clarifications regarding going concerns. It's funny though solo appear to be in a much better position than aex. Really the long term writing was on the wall when they 'helped out' aex (the operator!!) all those years ago?

Re reading post below I hasten to add LOL WE were not inept on the licence we were operating but the junior partner was very well connected and knew how to play politics very well and were also very cutthroat!!

It's a difficult one. All pure conjecture on my part but I think aex reputation is merde with the govt mostly from their own ineptitude but could be because be zubs has put the knife in as well. I know that has happened on a licence I worked on (let's just say the junior partner were very ambitious but we knew exactly what was "going on" and managed that situation carefully and appropriately !) Hence govt do not want to give licence (and more so approved dev plan) until they are certain zubs are operating it. Hence bit of a chicken and egg situation perhaps? All imho of course!

Agree totally and it makes sense to get admin out of the way to move things forward quickly. My concern though is that it appears that they have March to do this which puts a lot of strain on going concerns etc imho.
