CCF this is my rationale. I am absolutely sure the bod would have done nothing at all illegal hence draw some positivity with regard to the two new placees. If of course their 'gamble' does not come off then 'we' are in real share price trouble!!

I'm not mate, your aex boss keeps on talking crap about shorting. You supposedly agree on fair 'on board representation'. Do u or do u not think aex is being shorted? If u do do you think the shorters are contravening regulatory posting requirements or are they so immaterial tgey need not notify? Do u mind answering the above matey? Who the f's an idiot, you've been shown many times to be in way out of your depth on understanding of e&p asset valuations and financing but wtf?! CPerkin yes a 3.6 % short for a pop like that will influence the price of course but this is my bloody point!! I assume, I haven't bothered to look but, this short has been notified publicly? If this is the case what you've got to do now - is go to the bathroom. Look in the mirror. For five long minutes. Then ask yourself if shorts etc spread bet lay offs are being publicly pronounced on other pop stocks why oh why aren't they being so for aex?! C Perkin yes but not for a $50 mm plus main mkt listed company ffs. I honestly don't know HT. But what I do know (IMHO) is that it isn't happening materially or enough to impact the price. I know there are a few "inexperienced" investors on here who think these various conversations impact the share price as well but there u go, what can I say bruv?

I really hear what you are saying HT / BG but the regulatory requirements are much higher for short selling positions is as low as 0.5% for individuals or collectively by one provider (I believe but that us an old man's punch drunk memory of course) hence I think we can safely say there have never been or are likely to be so in the future!! All imho and as ever dyor of course! However regardless of the above there will always be conspiracy theories on these boards - especially the lse aex boards so good luck with continuing this!

That worries me a lot surely William has a good idea 're farm down details and expectations of getting signed off? As I say the work for the wells will be back costed or reflected in remaining equity hence not really a solution IF we get signed off. IF not I really would expect Hugh to resign? Apologies I was talking from pov ofcsoread bet provider. Collectively they would either need to sell short or purchase long depending upon collective exposure. If they sold short materially this would gave to be reported. Right been putting this off for ages - got to move some furniture before 12.30 pm Lol!! Best of luck all.
