They've done brilliantly in Senegal Mauritania and relatively same play plus big deal with BP 're west African costs/ carries so they may be looking to keep stuff in conveyor belt? I also like WPL who reputedly went into Senegal AFTER their Ireland analysis? These are the kind of size companies I'd expect although I wouldn't really describe Kosmos as s major? As ever all imho and dyor.

Total are referred "In the industry" as a "super major" hence would have expected that to be replicated in the rns? If we include such companies in the list I would certainly put Total and Exxon as good possibles. I am more minded for Exxon because again Total European company and the route and relationship with HO should be done by Xmas at the latest!! My experience of the larger companies is the regional manager would at least be allowed one discretionary exploration well a year but may be because this is supposedly a three block deal requires more approval? Tovic lol re Cairn and Vermicelli being 'majors'. I'm sure they wish it were!! I have no idea about the mgt structure of Cairn but I thought their HO was in Edinburgh hence doesn't really follow the "they've got to get decision from HO" line? Also Cairn pride themselves on fast decision making and being nimble operators? I do like them actually but probably more to trade? Vermicelli whilst bigger could only really describe themselves as a mid sized indie (at best?) I think a larger company in excess of 1000k per day is the size of this supposed farminee? Crusty the issuance of the dev licence will not transfer 2c to 2p. It is the crystallisation of the work programme within the development licence that (hopefully) does this? Is that what you meant, as the way I read it you appeared to imply the issuance off the licence would transfer across automatically?

F's sake how many time do I have to explain? I would have managed the assets differently so they didn't need to rely on cornerstone investor in first place looking to have farmed out significantly earlier. If this was not possible would have cash constrained all spend and prioritised 2nd b2b well after doing vsp shot down hole and tying to known g&g data. I would also have had high high up on my risk register the fact that we only have one revenue stream and to remember and plan accordingly around that fact!! Also to try and seek some leverage from that!!

I don't particularly disagree crusty. I'm just saying regardless of whether that theory us or isn't correct it just emphasises my view that Aex mgt haven't managed the assets efficiently. All imho of course.

I think legally you can do that Crusty ie it has pretty binary - farm down goes ahead if licence provision within x months etc.? If not and they are waiting for licence extension or better, full permissions and, feel this would be relatively imminent based upon dates for "circular", then I would be very happy if this happened b4 or around Xmas? 're kn1 stuff why do you need egm for this? Just normal business? Ie you don't need an egm vote to give permission to pay fine or pay the right amounts anyway?!

Would someone kindly point out to uwe that there are other aex bbs that he posts on where this information was disseminated!! He bloody posts on the particular one where this was 'announced'. Re pinky and jerky post. No evidence of course and because jerky has riposted so aggressively I assume was not him and apologise? However pinky does have a reputation for running off and crying to admin (very often). Crusty Pete you don't think there may be a vote on conditional farm in to get admin out of the way so if when certain conditions crystallise things can move on quickly?

I think all we can hope for is kn1 remediation and revenues as this is desperately needed. If not where is the running cash coming from? Anymore (than just an admin egm to get (conditional) farm down voted through) is a great bonus and hopefully rewarded with a good positive share price reaction. Best of luck all and imho.
