C Perkin. This wasn't really a "normal" update (imho) 're gas production. It referred to well testing not flow testing which was interesting? Me, I haven't a clue what is going on (dye to poorly written rns) but gas at surface certainly does not mean the compartment (have we ever seem officially this reservoir is 'compartmentalised'?) has been sufficiently recharged for commercial production. Christ on a bike you can get 'oil seeps' to surface in some areas of Africa lol! Or, once again was it really poorly written or written in such a way that allows Emporers to probably run around claiming that everything hunky dory and more realistic people like myself saying, "really that rns tells me absolutely f all and judging by their operational pfmce to date probably better to.infer negatively!!" We are still scrabbling around for real important useful information from bod. Great. All imho and as ever dyor of course.

Double duh. Tanzania when did this forum suddenly become one that is only for those that have the good interests of aex at heart??!! It is meant to be a board to discuss the pros and cons of investing in aex. Often correct analysis and suggestions regarding what would be good for Aex are just shouted down by certain emporers and their (diminishing) supporters?! All imho of course.

That's fine Tovoc we are each entitled to our own views!! As I say I hope I am wrong and I still draw 'some' comfort from the fact that we have these deals waiting to be signed off, plus new investors in placing.

CPerkin I think the fact they have remedied the SSV and only gas shows at surface would imply it hasn't recharged imho?

In aex defence all they have ever said they needed was a perforation programme but I've got to admit even if just that $250 k figures oft quoted by bod, still seem very "tight" as I'd pointed out previously. All imho and dyor of course.

Ah CP I see we seem to agree. As I've said a million times before they may not have needed a discounted placement. They could potentially have squeezed the 2nd well costs out (having not been lazy about the rig in the first place lol and got a decent drilling company man in, so the first well wasn't over "burdened") then gone to mkt after that. C'est la vie!! All imho and doesn't matter now anyway.

They'd have never got a placing off the ground. The analysis is pretty simple imho and it would have been a worse dilution than the carried deal with zubs. My estimate was based on reasonable expectation of "similar" deals at the "time and market" in hc's of similar "strangled" nature and was still 25% out. I can only assume this was the mgt "premium*" applied to Aex. At the time I personally was starting to get nervous they may go bust. Vote NO ffs. What on earth are aex going to do then? At the end of the day if I were zubs I certainly wouldn't crystallise deal until very least licence title sorted out then I probably wouldn't do the well either until dev licence granted. I hope though (LOL) that the (dev) licence etc will be issued post EGM? Would be better before of course (I'll get me coat now).

Re this morning rns. 1. Surprised they didn't include this Friday? Can only assume work concluded this weekend? 2. Gas at surface? So what, this looks like discharged cocompartment which is the real issue when they closed the valve to 'charge up' (I'm assuming I can't remember). 3. HOWEVER, in theory they still have time to frac (and probably stim?) in time for original rns guidance (if equipment on site) although I think they have covered themselves on Friday if this doesnt occur? 4. Well that put the kibosh on that conversation!! I'd like to add as a footnote though, hopefully we can finally get (dev) licence (prior to egm would be nice?) Then, we can hopefully let go of most of the past and hand over to zubs who will hopefully do a much better job than Aex have? Then if we hold a very low bar for future operated pfmce of aex, other assets things should be Ok? I myself am hopeful this or near to this will be found to be the share price low point? Unfortunately Tanzania a lot of the critics work in the industry. Just our of interest have you? You sound a very nice gentlemen matey but if I were you I wouldn't just discount the critics so readily. For sure Tanzania is not an easy place to do business, which is why it is so important you have good (relevant) experienced people in charge starting of course with (mow gone) BH!!!
