Quire agree "what would a judge do" There may just be a hint in what the judge said perhaps in jest at the beginning of this case. "it doesn't matter what conclusion I come to . one of you will appeal it" she will have read the deposited original papers and in some ways this is a minor case in terms of decision making, however given that she will have seen the involvement of another Government she may see things in a different way and give a particularly weak ruling with the full knowledge that it will be kicked upstairs to a higher Court. It is certainly clear from her perspective with the addition of all the extra paper evidence introduced during the trial that there is a lot more at stake. Would a judge at this level want to destroy a potential multi billion company ( steve words) that is of benefit to uncle Sam? Politics should not come into it but sadly they do (more so in the USA) so dodge the bullet

Bigdouble Thanks for your attempt but rules are rules! It is a pity this is all taking place remotely not for the first time has a clerk to a judge has said. "I have had to refuse access to you from a an outside source" or along those lines. Judges are innately inquisitive! quote back " thanks for that who was it by the way?" all said in a judges private rooms - we already know that the judge is surprised at the numbers of people looking in. Just can not happen when proceedings take place remotely as it will all be recorded sadly. Just maybe the judge has guessed anyway.

I think many of us all all in the same boat but all I would add is that it looks like we have all been duped. I am sitting here fuming and think my only resort is to get one of them out on the cobbles! but which one? the level of basic good management is appalling. the level of oversight by the main board is beyond belief. We all knew that there was a level of risk in this game but NOT this type of behaviour. I could go on but will not rant even I have some dignity unlike two quite specific people

Sharealot from memory and I could be wrong I think Mr Mole and Coggy have, if you wait until they are back on line during the case I am sure they will give you a view. Apologise if others have had a chat. From a personal point of view I and many others have had a chat with zeem, all I can say is that he was very plausible and friendly and appeared very open. It is were i found out he originally was in medicine as a carea and then moved into metal trading as he could no longer afford fees he admitted he dealt with physicals over the border ie dodgy but that was not uncommon in such troubled countries ( still takes place) and as the country advanced from under the Russian bear he became legit. which was the source of his dosh. I can see why SN had so much trust in him indeed a did bring a city high flyer with me he also though he was very plausible and well informed, my mate has seen many of the scumbags and scams around.

I do have to say I admire some posters for making serious posts after the first real Saturday with sun, Darby day ( although I have no interest in betting on horses - beyond my pay scale) and the pubs are open and the court proceedings are on going. In fact what the hell am I even looking in for I must be mad. This is the time we should seem the metal of our team I hope. Cladia may have come across as hardball but the judge wants the information for her to make necessary allowable s relevant to this case. Our judge may not be crusty and full of wisdom but she is certainly nobodies fool so far.
