I think our next meeting will be in August. but from what I understand this is not cast in stone. Zaza from his past record tends to combine our meeting with other meetings in London so it may end up being early September due to the bucket and spade season

Absolutely agree with your view on the accounts. Tend not to take too much notice of accounts because they are so historical and in this case we already know that many things have changed from that snapshot view ( Tempus fugit)
In my professional life I have have always had some difficulty with FD's who are Chartered accountants who by there nature training are looking at the past ( No offense to any individual) The money men are always beeter as they are looking forward as we should especially with the knowledge that we have.

On you final comment . I fully concur. I have always found that if I disagree that is all that needs to be said and I ignore anything else and make my decisions accordingly. Just no need to do anything else.Point made!

Tend to agree that many would sell, however if all goes well on the oil so the field and thus production becomes in effect self funding as quoted by Zaza ( leaving the gas aside) I for one would not sell.

The future of the Company to become a production Company has been stated often by Zaza and is also in the name of the Company although I fully accept that exploration is still the name of the game.If all goes well on the oil and they get many wells producing this could move off aim onto the main market.

I would also add that it depends on individual circumstances, Personally I do not need cash but some will, some will just be fed up and others just like playing the market as hobby.

All I would say is lets see what happens, soak up the information( when it come!) and then make individual informed choices

If Mr Trump is to be believed He has announced that the USA will not allow any imports of o&g from Libya from Novemeber, along with this he is "encouraging" other Countries with no exceptions to do like wise. Mr trum does has a reputation of both threatening then followed by some actions at least.. He tends to do what he says on the tin. This will affect prices to counter the increases in production recently announced via OPEC. Good for us or will it be neutral? Ps lets not have a pro/anti trump discussion. there are plenty of other outlets for that including the pub ( if they have any gas filled lager left! Thankfully I am a bitter drinker)

Very good post and I fully support your view, I would add that all investments are nothing more than an informed gamble and even if you are fully informed ( and not many are as it is very time consuming) it can still go wrong mainly by external factors - look at those who lost a packet on the housing market a few years ago mainly by try to get rich quick.
On a point of humor I remember a few years ago an experiment where some kids invested in stocks by putting a pin in a copy of of the financial times, over a period of a year the kids beat the stockbrokers. This experiment has been repeated many times with the same results. Over a period of 5 years the results are reversed

take a look at the BP news on LSE today. A major energy conference meeting is taking place. To long to post much info here but looks like retaliation between the USA and china if it takes place will affect LNG both short and medium term due to production streams etc. This might be positive for us.
