There just might be a glimmer in this. I shall have to go from memory over this and it all seems a long time ago when both we had active contact with the Company and this board was a little more focused. Please correct me if I am wrong on any aspect

Firstly this oil had to come from somewhere
2 We know that we can get oil of just above Brent quality out of our wells
3 we have very little storage on site
4 there is bad infra structure to the rail head
5 Leading on - any of our oil is stored at the rail head (not the best option) but it will do pro temp
6 I seem to remember that any oil we have is very well choked down for a variety of reasons but one of the techie's on here did think that they could be opened a tad so to speak.
7 We understand from statements elsewhere that we are producing something and we have some 200 plus employees.
8) Despite the Saudi's statements their has to some sort of loss of production and at least some extra production will have come on stream just in case from elsewhere.

Supposition- could this be some of our oil pre sold to GOGS ?

I would totally concur that FSHG are very much in the same boat as us all. I do know members of the people who reformed FSHG and have been in contact with them. They are as much in the dark as we are despite trying on our behalf. I am also very pleased that no one has made any unfounded comments about FSHG which has happened in the past. LETS KEEP IT THAT WAY!.
They are after all just the same as us. Investors who take an active interest on there investments and for sake of convenience to save bombarding the Company with the same questions from many concerned share holders. In case anybody asks they are NOT acting as "concert party" They have no advantage over anybody else. They as concerned as any of us are but they can only act upon facts. Between them I can assure you they do have a great deal of experience of Company matters.
Please take my word for the above and I am not a member of the organising group. Thanks in advance as I know the emotions are still running high and yes I do have quite a lot of my hard earned in this Company -thankfully in my case I am not "all in" so I can only wait until news arrives. With the refining problem there is just a small chance it may do us some good if the super sleuths have found the truth about production - of course it depends on if we are selling as opposed to keeping it is storage to put it down as an asset value for the books re the court cases.

The rumour is that oil may spike up to or near $100 a barrel - some how I think that is too high but may spike to $80 we shall have to wait and see as for how long it will last depends on how long it takes for the Saudis to be back on line and that is unknown. For those of us with shares in the big boys I expect them to get a Sharpe rise Monday morning.

I would agree that this puts us on a 6 month wait. My concern is that in what can only be some sort of master plan ( but I am dammed if I know what it is) will this either put us a further risk as the legal stuff is put out of kilter or will we have have to now add in further legal stuff to cover us in the mean time? This is of course presuming that this is all linked!
Certainly the move on a project like the Ukraine was a stated aim of Zaza in past based upon us doing the oil in Georgia and leaving the gas to others, it does however give us more time to get a bit more oil out of the ground as discovered by our super sleuths we are doing if the paper work is correct.
With so many things going on I rather see this as a game of chess and a 3D game. I am afraid I am now in the position where a normal game of chess seems to be at a very high level of complexity let alone a 3D game and is way beyond my capabilities to understand. If my analogy is anywhere the realty then I can only hope that we have a grand master working this all out.
At least the game is still on so their is hope and to some extent for those who are old enough to remember the very public games of chess between the Russians and the USA where International politics was literally being played out on chess boards with all the tv coverage world wide - we do not even have the advantage of it being on TV

I ask because given the importance of both the geo political position we have plus the oil and gas connectors etc it only adds to the bigger picture and just how well placed we are. I accept we have to get out of our present situation and a lot can still happen but given the consensus on this board that we are still with a beating heart it really is just a waiting game. At some point I expect that both SN and zaza in the future will want to pack it all in and lie on a beach ( don't we all) in terms of long term planning I would like to think the Company will be consumed by one of the majors for a reasonable price.

It may all be pie in the sky but certainly I think there is some long/medium term vision still in the BOD's minds

the bit of press today does suggest that we at leat still have a heart beat ( even if we are on life support)

It does have some relevance as if the press stuff has any truth in it oil does seem important, of course this does foit with what Zaza said in terms of we do the oil bit by bit and leave the gas to others.

I would also recommend a read up on doing business with the Russians I would add that in effect I would widen the subject to cover the former USSR area although the satellites are making some progress in change to a more western style. This is manly due to the Positive influence of the USA and the UK ( please note my omissions as the EU as a block can not agree on a common approach!)
Whilst I have not read this particular book I suspect it close to the mark. I speak as a former UK Gov officer who has worked a lot right across the former USSR area - it really is a different world not for the first time did I have to submit to putting any personal protection weapons on the table before entering a meeting room and this was for a friendly Gov to Gov meeting ! ( we were not allowed to have them but they did!)

I can confirm that I personally know Jonnbbad. I have met him on a number of times at the shareholkder meeting and have some phone contact with him. I distinctly remember a discussion with him just after the meeting at the stock exchange and remember the conversation well. apart for allowing for a bit of tempus fugit to have it effect what he is saying I can vouch for along with some other content which is not necessary to repeat. Please do not doubt his word.

I am sorry to have to post like this as we were all a "band of brothers"on the board but as we all know we have been infuriated by a few trolls and those who speak with forked tongue. Thankfully the majority are well intentioned with there posts if not have to clutch at a few straws due to the news balckout

My comment was not actually down beat but I do think at times it is difficult for some ( not me) to forget what the strategic plan was and I believe still is. This always was going to be a long haul without any bumps in the road and we have certainly had our fair share. but it is clear that we are still functioning and perhaps that is all that matters and we are just waiting for a bit more light at the end of the tunnel. I would just add that although it has not happened yet zaza did say the he would like a re rate of the market price when the time was right and that he wanted to get off the Aim market and onto the main market. Of course it has not happened yet but these are all very strategic plans for a bright future, just wish it would happen in the next week!
