Good to know we are not the only shareholders to have raised this issue with the company. Let's hope for and RNS tomorrow even if it is only a statement of intent to have Episwitch PSE included in the review.

That's an interesting and apparently selective response from prostate cancer UK. Did they mention that the MRI scan testing identified a total of 48 patients from their cohort that were identified as having screening positively for cancer yet when 'further testing' (biopsies?) were done the number of confirmed cases dropped to 29? That's an awful lot of false positives and unnecessary biopsies! So whilst the MRI option picked up twice as many cancer cases as PSA it is far from perfect and it too needs further validation.

For your information Episwitch PSE and the MRI technique were both developed via the Prostagram programme which was specifically intended to compare MRI imaging with PSA. PSE is an enhancement of conventional PSA and uses PSA results as input to the episwitch algorithm.

Not only were the MRI imaging and Episwitch technologies developed simultaneously, they both had collaboration from the Imperial College NHS Trust. I would expect both to be included in the final national screening study.

Good to have other investors with their finger on the pulse Dave. I would not be surprised to find OBD involved in trials/studies we know nothing about.

MRI was and that's no surprise as it was on preliminary project outline on the NSC website.

I'm absolutely convinced I have read or heard someone from OBD discussing the national streaming study. They were saying they would look to be involved and suggested it would not be difficult to get Episwitch included. Frustratingly I can't remember where I saw/heard this and have not been able to find the article/webinar in spite of hours looking today. I'll post a link if I can find it again.

I would hope not. The MRI is followed by a biopsy and even then the accuracy of MRI scans fall short of that of the Episwitch PSE. In the Prostagram study out of 303 men screened 65 were flagged as potentially having cancer but following additional tests (presumably biopsy) only 32 cases were confirmed the MRI only identified 25 out of 29 cases deemed to be serious. It identified twice as many as PSA alone but there were apparently a large number of false positives. It seems to me that an MRI following Episwitch PSE diagnosis would merely add costs.

In either case (Episwitch or MRI) the next step is most likely a biopsy to confirm the diagnosis and grade the cancer by its Gleason score. This is used to determine treatment options.

The proposed national screening study will decide which technology will be used for screening taking factors such as accuracy, cost and availability into account. My money is on Episwitch.

The main thing is the article confirms that thevNSC is revisiting the question of whether or not there should be a national screening programme. Seems to.me that OBD are in the right place at the right time. So much going on they will need to be careful to prioritise activities to maximise the benefits of all the opportunities opening up here!

The recent development of alternative screening technologies that are significant improvements to PSA is THE reason why the National Screening Commitee is undertaking the review study.

Both the MRI option (Prostagram) and Episwitch PSE were developed as part of the NHS Prostagram project. The project was designed to compare MRI diagnosis with the conventional PSA. The fact that Episwitch emerged from the prostagram project and that the Imperial College NHS Trust was involved in the development of both technologies is ground to believe Episwitch will logically be included in the forthcoming National Screening study.

I fully expect Episwitch PSE will be part of the trial. The involvement of our (OBD's) top scientists on relevant national committees makes this a racing certainty. In fact I am sure comment from the company has already been made to that effect.

It would frankly be astonishing if the money spent on and the results of the prostagram project were to be ignored by the National Screening Committee.

Aiden started bailing out at 20p whilst proclaiming the share was undervalued. He subsequently destroyed sentiment from which the share has never recovered. His actions serve as a warning to the dangers of a tightly held share register. It only takes one TR1 holder to bail and everyone else pays the price.

Ah bit frustrating as it was looking great today but no big deal in the grand scheme. An opportunity for someone to pick up some cheaper shares before they move up.again.

My impression is that the company is focused on cancers initially but its good to know the technology has a diverse range of applications many with high demand!

I wonder if we might see some high net worth individuals coming on board following the Jeffries Healthcare Investment Conference? I'd be disappointed and surprised if we don't.

Forgot one very important point. CiRT and PSE are just the first two tests and OBD is currently developing/validating a pipeline of about 12 other products including tests to predict susceptability to colorectal cancer, ALS, rheumatoid Arthritis, and many other life altering diseases. They are also looking to expand the use into other market segments such as veterinary applications. Some of these new tests could and probably will be rolled out in a matter of months.

I will try to give short answers, but they will be greatly simplified. I recommend you look at the videos/webinars many of which are available on the corporate website or LinkedIn pages

Technical development for CiRT and PSE is complete and both products are being commercialised. Further validation is ongoing and is likely to enhance the predictive accuracy of the tests.

Commercial development is ongoing. In the case of CiRT the company is building a network of oncologists that are helping promote the test to their colleagues. W

For both CiRT and PSA we have attained reimbursement agreements with major healthcare insurers. We are still in the foothills of what promises to be a steep and profitable climb to the summit.

The testing equipment is housed in our own laboratories but out-sourcing is possible (and likely) if sales grow quickly beyond our lab capacity. We expect regulatory approval for our new UK lab early 2024. The US lab is being expanded in light of anticipated demand.

Lab equipment and sample handling devices/packaging are most probably manufactured externally but they will be off-the-shelf items. The NHS is about to run a review of prostate screening and I believe OBD is looking to have PSE included as one of the options.

Best hope none of the TR1 holders are in the 'not happening fast enough' category but a regular drip of rounded sells is worth keeping an eye on.

I am also invested for the long term here. I believe in the science and that strengthens my conviction about the commercialm prospects of the company. I have already said there is a validity to his view that he doesn't want to invest now. However I find it odd that he feels the need to announce his opinion on a share when he has no skin in the game.

The other derampers are more transparently obvious. Lies and spurious claims about poor management and the disadvantages of no US listing deserve to be outed for the nonsense they are. Try as I might I couldn't find a single AIM traded pharma that has a dual US/UK listing. As far as I can see they are all OTC in the US.

If folks have red flags to wave about OBD they should back them up with facts otherwise their opinions are of dubious intent and worthless.

The vast majority of aim stocks are 'jam tomorrow'. At least OBD has been promised some of medicare and Bupa's jam. However your take is a legitimate one. You prefer risking that you miss the boat when news drops to getting on board early to maximise potential gains. I understand that, but why do you feel the need to broadcast that here? Hoping for a better entry price maybe?

That's a new high for cryptic deramping. Citing a US pharma threatened with delisting from Nasdaq because they struggled to maintain the required share valuation is an unusual way to explain the benefits of a US listing for OBD. Made me giggle a bit.
