They have a 5 fold increase in the PSE sales team for a variety of reasons.
1. Their peer to peer sales strategy for CiRT was hopelessly misguided and an abject failure.
2. They have no real understanding of cost cutting and are ploughing on with 3 labs, and a oversized and underperforming sales and marketing team, preferring to switch the entire CiRT team to PSE than make some redundant. (Why not do this restructure months ago since it has been obvious for a very long time that the lack of validation was a major block on sales of CiRT)?
3. The entire collective of sales and marketing VP's and directors are Burrows' old chums and colleagues. They need an apparent justification to keep the wheels of the gravy train in motion.
