It’s been a busy few months at Zephyr and by the looks of it will be the same as we go into 2025. With the well financed and a rig secured, the crew’s arrival in mid-January means that drilling the Paradox Basin is well and truly about to drill baby drill.
Looking for ‘up to two million barrels of oil equivalent’ in the horizontal 5,500 feet of drilling through the Cane creek reservoir we are told to ‘expect the results from the production test on the well will be available by the end of March 2025′.
Shareholders have been patient and whilst the problems with the drilling were not of their making they did delay this moment although it should be pointed out that this did not cost the company in cash, only in time. As a result the next few months will be exciting and hopefully justify the management’s confidence and in that I include the irrepressible Matt Idiens who first ran me through the Paradox project.
This is no time to abandon Zephyr, indeed if ever there was a time to back the risk it is now, the Paradox Basin is going to be the story for early 2025 and whilst the shares are off the bottom by some distance there is room for a ten-bagger should this well come in, the choice is yours…
Not cost the company in cash (Just 50% of production from 36-2)...
As for a ten bagger from here (that's 30p)....previously stated 20p... I'll be happy if we hit those targets but reality is often disappointing as we have all experienced....we just need a head wind and a bit of luck with this one.
Have a very prosperous xmas and new year to all
