A solid vote of confidence by the Bank both in the Zephyr management team and of course the complete asset portfolio. This is important as the team has worked hard on developing the exciting Paradox Basin as well as the producing and non-operated assets in the Williston.
More when I have spoken to Colin Harrington.

From permit application...
Production. It is anticipated that this well will be a producing oil well with little to no gas
production. Surface facilities for the well bores will consist of two wellheads, separators, gas
meters, (2) 400-gallon methanol tank, (2) 400-gallon glycol tank, (6) 300-barrel oil tanks, (2) 300-
barrel water tank, (2) 1000-gallon propane tank (only if needed), a pumping unit with natural gas
fired motor, solar panels, solar chemical, methanol pumps and one trace pump. The prime mover
for pump jacks would be a small (60 horsepower or less), natural gas-fired internal combustion
engine.
A 40-foot pipeline would be constructed from the well pad and tie into a pipeline operated by the
Pacific Energy & Mining Company.
Reclamation. It is anticipated that the 36-3LN-C9 and 36-2LNW-CC wells would stay in
production for up to thirty years.
From the permit application
Drilling and Completion Operations. Rose Petroleum would utilize a drill rig to drill the vertical
well bores on a SITLA oil and gas lease and the horizontal laterals to penetrate federal oil and gas
leases UTU78223 and UTU93002. Drilling operations would take approximately thirty days per
well from the start of drilling operations to the removal of the drilling rig and then an additional
two weeks for completion

The market had been waiting for these permits which allow the consecutive drilling of the two key wells at the Paradox Basin, the long awaited State 36-2 LNW-CC well and the State 36-3 LN-C9 well and after that the non-operated Kirkwood well.
I am expecting the first two wells to add substantially to the existing reserves number as already telegraphed by the company when they said that this programme is expected ‘to unlock what may be substantial potential’.
The shares are up some 8% as I speak which is understandable given the all clear given for the company to start drilling at the Paradox. But 6.1p is not what the Zephyr story is all about, this company is a wolf in sheep’s clothing as they get stuck into the 45,000 acres of the Paradox

His comments for anyone who has not read his blog
Zephyr are clearly close to completion of all the necessary preparations and with imminent final permitting the process of drilling the first two wells should soon get under way after signing the drilling contract.
Production will not be far away and the deal with Kirkwood will add a joint well as well as de-risking the Cane Creek and of course other opportunities will add to the huge value within Zephyr.
Well i'm expecting delays and that's fine......we'll all know what's planned by the 25th and it all just seems too late but who knows, I might be surprised..
Not expecting 16 -2 to be testing until gas sorted... hopefully this will be revealed on the 25th ( surprise me Colin).
Not expecting any new wells to be drilled this year.... just seems too late to have infrastructure and contracts done by December
It will all come good in the end and I'll wait
within 2 weeks... so time up today
Either he meant in 2 weeks... time up tomorrow
Or
The announcement of the webinar date is late, in which we should get an announcement of a new announcement for an announcement of a future drilling date announcement ... which will be delayed due to unforseen or forseen circumstances...not their fault
From Malcy's blog
Again like others, these interims are only historic figures of course as are the confirmation of announcements made since the period end date. However they do show how much of a game-changing position Zephyr has assumed in only a year.
Revenue of $25.9m vs $0.9m and net profits of $17.4m against a loss of $1m in last year’s Q1 numbers show what a difference a year makes. Indeed my contention that it is the management of this company that stands out as it was able to deliver the Zephyr that you see today.
The Paradox Basin project was an inspired selection, it has brought to the company a genuinely material asset that I think will in due course become a very substantial one, something that will provide hydrocarbons in great quantities for years to come.
CEO Colin Harrington here confirms what we knew already, that the extended production test on the State 16-2LN-CC well will start before long as will the three well programme on the project which will galvanise the situation dramatically.
The most recent acquisition, which followed the Williston assets purchases, which were done to ensure financial stability and in order to fund the independence of the Paradox, will now be assimilated and integrated so that the infrastructure is ready and waiting to bring the gas to market.
So, my point about the material change that has occured at Zephyr and in such a short space of time reflects just that, a potentially world class development could be just around the corner. If the drilling programme is successful, cashflows arrive and of course potentially substantial increases in reserves are booked, this year will be seen to have been to have been one of significance and the share price will respond accordingly.
