The present demand for Electricity in the Republic of Ireland is presently 5911 MW
Wind Farm Generated Electricity 167 MW
I am delighted for Rockhopper Oil and Gas.
I hope the award is in the region of 1 Billion Euros.

Norway is completely self sufficient for its Natural Gas and Petroleum Requirements.
Norway is presently earning over 7 .9 Billion Dollars a month from the sale of Natural Gas and Petroleum to The European Union and the the UK.
This enormous income to the coffers of the Norwegian National Wealth Fund is expected to increase dramatically over the next decades.
Norway is ramping up production, encouraging further drilling and allocating further Licenses to the E&P Industry.
At the present time the Norwegian National Wealth Fund is worth over 1.4 Trillion Dollars.
Norway is exploring its Natural Resources for the benefit of its citizens .
At the same it is a World leader in Wind Turbine Industry .
The Norwegian Alternative Industry is a World Leader in the design of Wind Turbines and the construction of Wind Farms.
This is the Polar opposite to Ireland.
Ireland is reliant on imported Natural Gas and Petroleum to keep the lights on, expect for the rapidly declining output from the Corrib Natural Gas Field.
Ireland has a National debt of over 170 Billion Euros and rapidly increasing.
We have no National Wealth Fund obviously
Instead of increasing the National Debt Ireland could be reducing this debt presently or in the near term if the indigenous Natural Resources offshore Ireland were being exploited.

Just in case you are inclined to forget Eamonn Ryan here is a reminder.
The reality and consequences of the present policy of Eamonn Ryan has yet to confront us with all its consequences for the Economy of Ireland and the population.
https://www.irishexaminer.com/news/arid-20104949.html
Don't worry,
Eamonn Ryan will command the Wind to blow!.
Simple.
Wind Power is producing in the region of 3% of the Electricity Requirments at this present time.
180 MW .
Mid afternoon today the contribution from WIND FARM production was in the region of 55 MW.
When the ageing Power Stations start to crumble and shut down it won't only be the farmers looking to meet Minister Eamonn Ryan.
This could do the job.

Russia and China are gaining control of the present and future Natural Gas and Petroleum production and supply output from the Middle East.
Those that own the supply dictate the price.

While Russia and China are securing development and extended supply contracts from the existing and the next generation of Natural Gas and Petroleum fields of the Middle East in Iran, Iraq, and Qatar, Europe is apparently oblivious to what is occurring.
Russia and China both know what drives an economy , and those that hold this power will dictate both the pricing and supply policy to Europe.
In the very near term Europe will begin to realise this. It may be to late before those in power wake up to the situation.
Ireland has the potential to supply all its own Energy requirments from it's own indigenous resources for decades to come.
The Drill bit has to be turned.
Inishea has to be drilled
The license transfer of FEL 4/19 has to be completed from CNOOC and DNO to Europa Oil and Gas.
This process has take 2 years or more there are no excuses Minister Eamonn Ryan.
Put pen to paper and sign the License over to Europa Oil and Gas.

Further problems for Europe.
No gas coming through the North Stream pipeline any time soon.
Getting colder in Europe.
Massive demand for the available Natural Gas.
Strategic Natural Gas storage in Europe at an all time low.
Soon there will be Natural Gas shortages.
Ireland at the end of the European pipeline network will bear the brunt of this shortage.

This is a further update on the Nord Stream certification delay.
This will have to go through the German Courts and then it will have to be approved by the EU.
How long is a pice of string, it could take 6 months.
Or if there are objections even longer.

Eamonn Ryan says it will cost the Irish Government ( Republic of Ireland) serious money to buy back the Exploration Licenses for Irish offshore License.
This Government and Minister Eamon Ryan have stated publicly that all existing Exploration Licenses issued by previous Irish Governments could proceed as normal.
Nevertheless work had completely stalled. Europe Oil and Gas has been waiting since the last days of the previous Irish Government and the formation of this Government for the FEL4/19 license to be transferred from CNOOC and DNO.
Europe Oil and Gas is still waiting for a site survey license to be issued for the Inishkea prospect on FEL 3/19.
Ireland could be producing all its Natural Gas and Petroleum needs instead this lack of cooperation from the Irish Government which is in complete contrast to what the Government has publicily stated has resulted in Ireland being unnecessarily dependent on imported Natural Gas and Petroleum .

If another power station go offline, the lights are definitely out
Within the last 10 day there were 3 power stations offline another one which was basically stiched together working at half capacity.
These power stations are producing Electricity at full capacity for months.
Downtime for scheduled servicing is out of the question , therfore more problems guaranteed
With the increasing demand from new homes with Electricity as their sole energy supply what a future dilemma for these home.
In addition the increasing Industry requirements and the move to electrify the transport system both State and Public and a Electricty infrastructure system requiring up to 200 Billion Euros of investment.
Wind Generating 44 MW at present.
