We enjoy Tilly's short tracker. Does chime with the sell volume. Certain that's been the source of liquidity that's hitherto stopped sp rises. Its those positions that will need unwinding in spectacular fashion.
Looks like kira et al posting furiously. First it was no sale possible, yet Kinross and AMC sold to Sviblov, now its random attacks on everyone. Sorry, but AMC de-risks a deal further as does Potanin buying banking assets. That's several independent dds confirming they are bona fide buyers of western assets. AMC was a firesale - no competition for that asset imv and not the type of project in a private buyers sweet spot. Both Kinross and AMC insisted on dollars locally too, which has hurt their price and payment schedule. Neither have a Cyprus entity that holds their assets either. If Kinross can sell its aging gold mine and pfs stage project for $680m in 3 weeks and amc can well its remote project, EUA RNS will be a surprise to some but not others.
Hopefully they schedule an investor presentation as per last May. Surely lots to talk about!
Good summary del. May want to add a post count for kira, who seems most panicked by talk of the RNS. Logic dictates if Sviblov is prepared to buy a nickel asset from AMC with all its infrastructure and capex problems in USD, he WANTS to buy EUAs brownfield re-start ready nickel projects adjacent infrastructure given possible opp to do so in RUB. So the question is price and structure. Those surely there or thereabouts now. But he's of course not alone, with Potanin also out buying - and if he's prepared to buy finance firms - he's prepared to buy mining projects on his doorstep. These guys are likely not the only bidders but most likely, the biggest fish that'll emerge on top.
End of the day, this bb is fun at best. Won't change a thing. Sale RNS will be fantastic if you're in at 8p, terrible if you sold and bitter. In the end, every investors choice. This isn't AMC. When that RNS lands, many a folks pf will be repaired.
I think the funding and bringing investors on board will come together, unless there is prior open market buying especially following Indaba. Let's not overlook how the market for potash and need for Khemisset has shifted further in the last few months. RNS indicates investor interest is strong for the project. In terms of OCP, if it provides offtake finance - that could take care of the equity piece. EML does need to bring IIs onto the register to boost the sp. By its own admission in the investor presentation that's needed to get the sp to close in on the NPV.
I note Guident is doing a private placement. I wonder if a little too cheaply. Shortly we should ink the AV contract in the US as per prior RNS. Rolling out the RMCC model to municipalities will drive revenue growth but alongside that, tie-ups with individual autocompanies pushing into AVs. I'm looking forward to some testing and partnership news on Guident's shock absorbers also - that could be huge.
