About half of that due to the events at the smelting plant.The rest normal market movement with miners. Had a cheeky t20 at 7.64 but still a bit to fall maybe?

The 600 million was used for deleverage.This is the only bit of the company that dosent get a special divi.Grrrrrrr!

Hi Ned, I am aware that we are invested in the holding company,not the Indian company.I was alluding to the $600 million that the holding company(us) has received as a dividend from a subsiduary. Some of that should be used as a special divi for us. The divi will be anounced in May as per the RNS. I am hopeful !!!

Must be this year surely with the extra 600 million in divis??

As a day trader and long time investor this one simply caught me with my trousers down.Put in a 100k when it hit 1.60 and could not see 1.43 coming after that despite all of my research.Whatever experience you have over however many years the market can always take you buy surprise.Fortunately I can leave it there for now.Upside has a 20% potential short term and the divi is good.1.65-1.70 will come back in the not too distant future.Fingers crossed as always!!

On checking I have sold about 2/3 I still have about 45k left.I just had an opportunity to reinvest in a stock currently paying about 8% . I made a fair bit on the ones I sold,not quite as much as Bushy but enough in the retirement fund to make it look healthy. I just think that the endgame was all a bit of a disappointment and the company has been sold very cheaply. About $130 a tonne. Been in it for 5 years or so time to play a new game I think.

Hi General, it certainly will. I still have about 45k shares left so will still be popping in from time to time,but just thought that I would play safe and take an 8% return per annum on what I have sold so I wont have to sell my house when I go ga ga!!
