Sorry Liberalman it is paid in dollars in the and converted by your broker . Mine is TD and the default payment is in Dollars . If you have an individual holding with a certificate or get the company registrar to change it, then you can have it paid in sterling. Already had that argument with TD Im afraid! But it is working out more beneficial with the current exchange rates.
Liberalman, you are dead right, forgot that Stesa had been renamed!!Silly me I don't know how I cope. Maybe I will get a dividend on my 130,000 shares after all!!!
Strangely enough sentiment is the thing that seems to govern everything , as by rights this share should be around £4-£4.50 on oil and commodity prices.
I am with TD in the UK, they told me the charge is made by another company not themselves so how do you get TD Luxembourg to do it?Would be very interested.
TD have informed me that the divi is paid in $US and is converted using the exchange rate on the day it is received.
A day late because of their reconciliation of payment from Vedanta. Doesn't appear to be a very good service does it?
