Your assessment isnt too far off the mark,but having had investments in SOLG and Mariana the share price didnt react as it should have done,in fact Mariana at its maximum only 4 bagged,from my 3p entry point.Solg went to 15p when I bailed out( in at 3.5p )slipping back to around 7p before rocketing to 40p.Getting exits right from AIM can be very difficult!

I too have held these shares for many years and it hasnt been going onward and upward for very long.A long way to go to get to my 5p buying price!!

The reason some businesses are extremely vocal about leaving the EU is because it puts an end to all that wonderfully cheap labour from Eastern and Southern Europe.They may have to start paying decent wages to their workforce God forbid. I wonder how many working people would still be using foodbanks if that happenned?

I think you can safely say Gold in the ground is worth a minimum of $100 an ounce.
Roughly speaking a 10m oz field will be worth around a billion dollars plus if it easily accessable.

Oh and by the way ,one in every five of the German built ones are sold in the UK according to Deloitte.So if there is a no deal Brexit Mrs Merkel may well be hearing from the 18000 or so German workers that will have their jobs at risk.Something the German Automotive industry has very much woken up to if my colleagues emails are anything to go by!!

Things have changed quite considerably since 1973.Thats why its not a good idea to live in the past.
Last set of figures I saw a few months ago Germany build over 50% of their vehicles OUTSIDE of Germany.

Would that be the German cars that are built in Hungary,Czech Republic,Poland,Slovakia,Belgium,UK,Russia,Sweden Spain,Portugal,Ukraine or Bosnia Herzegovina,
or the few still built in Germany?Thats only VW Group and thats only their European plants.

I will start selling my holding today,after all these years this share has made me very happy!!

I am not so sure that he is right when he says all of the London shareholders are happy??

Today I can buy these at £8.05. It goes ex divi on the 19th.The offer price combined with the divi is £8.56.
So 50p per share instant profit.When will Vedanta pay the offer and divi is accepted,anyone know?

This is very cheap at £8.25. Price should currently be in the £9-10 range if not for the incident at the Indian power plant. Been in for a few years and as a long term holder always expected this to get back to the £15 range.
Have to find another high paying dividend.
