Not taking anything for diabetes .I was put on statins a year ago and it has definately done the trick.Try as I might I still succumb to my bottle of red on a Sunday. Off to Budva Montenegro in just under two weeks ,really looking forward to that,just make sure you stay healthy and look after yourself.I think thats why as you get older great swathes of money become slightly less important!!

Hey Hawkspear very similar I got to a few ounces over 15 stone and have got it back to 14 st 5lbs.Keep going mate the only thing that works is eat less and excercise more.The Diabetes is an easy one,only get plastered on the weekend!!

Sounds great Jet,I too am on a diet.The only one that works for us two is Weightwatchers.I have lost 9lbs in just under 4 weeks. Being locked out of the gym I put on a stone between March and August.But back in there and working hard again now. My fish is usually in breadcrumbs unless its shop bought. Good luck with the diet, sounds like you are adding a few years!!

It annoys my family greatly but myself and her indoors have everything we want or could ever want.My car is 12 years old,hers is 10.House (albeit a very nice one) is paid for.My expenditure is less than a grand a month.Kids grown up and already well looked after,though I suspect at least half my holding in these will be transferred shortly.
My only vice now that she has stopped me from seeing other women is my holidays.(and red wine) And the most expensive one of those I ever had was about 8 grand.I have even had to stop eating biscuits after I put a stone on during lockdown
Its not that I am mean,just dont go a bundle on 'things'.
