Members, thanks for your comments. It goes to show how naive some investors are in considering income vs balance sheet. I hope that you are enjoying your trading, it can't at times be very frustrating. I have held off trading for about six weeks as the volatility in the oil price and Sterling/Dollar rate has given me no confidence, but then again I have managed to average down much lower than the present price. Good luck with it.

Zebbo, zero chance of a dividend. Yes, Tom Cross sees this as his personal toy, not only for his family gains but also for income. No, the BOD only have their self interest to heart. As a breakup it is worth more than the share price. One more, would I invest today, probably not, as there are more better potential investments. Anyone remember John Bentley? He was an asset stripper in the 70s. Today he would look at PMG, offer 50p a share, take control, chuck out Tom Cross, take the cash and hive off the oil/gas assets. Job done quids in. Tom is grinding this Company into the ground.

Shorting has killed plenty of companies, it restricts their activities, particularly the ability to borrow. It should be banned. But, how can we get it banned? I have had two ideas: have a petition and if you get 100k signatories then you can present it to the Government for consideration. Alternatively, my MP is John Glen (nothing to do with the moon) and he is Economic Secretary to the Treasury. I will write to him, or ask to see him in his Constituency Office and explain to him the problems that shorting creates. Thoughts please?

Buzz, more like a trickle into the 30s. I am still in (I can't think why) and will top up at below 35p or when Tom makes a 60p offer for the balance of shares he and his family do not own.
