There was a 12m+ buy and a 12m sell yesterday. It seems that Artemis has sold over 10% of the Company to Lombard who now have over 23%. I am looking forward to a hostile takeover so that the BoD get their comeuppance!

No wonder there was no deal. Have a look at the director's buys during 2017, most around the 150+ mark. This could get nasty for them and hopefully beneficial to the small shareholders.

I can't 70p never mind 60p would be enough to takeover.

If that buy at 10.52 is to believed someone has just picked up over 11% of the Company. Perhaps the FSP is not dead but gathering momentum without the Board having to make a decision.

Italian, there is a lot of merit in your post. But, with 65% of the Company held by IIs it must be a nightmare for anyone wanting to take it over to find a suitable price. Many of the IIs will have bought at a substantially higher price than, say 70p, so an offer at that price would get rejected. I feel it is going to be a long haul and possibly the FSP will fail. Solely my opinion.

TR, I agree with your sentiments, but there is a ten bob biit - it is called a 50p. I presume you mean a nine bob bit! Anyone notice that the share price actually closed on 61.47 not the 61.06 on the board. LSE must have entered a frozen time warp.

HL and II both have a closing price of 94.44 yet this site quotes 92.52. It seems to have had no update since about 3.00pm. Anyone else noticed this?

Any offer is going to take some time. There are 16 shareholders who have submitted a declaration of holding over one per cent of the Company - see RNS Forms 8.3. These shareholders hold over 64% of the company added to which are the Directors on nearly 12% - in total 76.21% out to major players. We mere mortals hold 23% and can be gobbled up in the market. The major holders will all want their slice of profit so negotiations are not going to be easy or quick.

TR61, as you said earlier this is way undervalued. I sold a shedload but still hold a six figure sum. This is starting to become a trading share again, in at 83p per DBNO and sell at 89p, the former may not happen but the latter will.
