RE: X3 Jun 2025 10:54
'Following from last night's chat. We cant be going into specifics for compliance reasons, but there are some rules of thumb out there that guide our thinking.
At the end of the day, mining and processing a tonne of rock costs X, regardless of what is in it- that is the cost side of the equation. The revenue side of the equation is how much gold comes out of that tonne, and that is a question of grade. +4g/t Au at surface is simply not something we see much anymore. There are no current examples for us to compare to, so we have to go back to first principles.
The question is, do we drill to expand, or do we look to advance what we have now, while drilling to expand on the side. Emotion aside, it is simply a numbers game, and with gold at over $3300/oz here and now, the argument is compelling. The drills are turning but so are the spreadsheets.'
An interesting tweet.
